All modules and plugins will work on 4.0 the UI will be different however the buttons will be the 3.0 style buttons and not the 4.0 style buttons. Again if the host can't fix a simple thing they aren't worth paying money to, much better ones out there. And that's no excuse ioncube 5 is a cPanel issue and should be available on easy apache 3, they could have done it manually. EA4 is also in BETA.

Move hosts if they can't fix a simple thing, they have to enable the php function in EasyApache, and also the PECL version as-well.

Ah have you asked them if they would look into it? Otherwise you need to open a feature request thread and post the API link above with the link to their website so the guys know what it's for and then depending how many people want it depends if it gets on the to-do list and what priority it gets.

As far as I know there's no module for a company which sells .id domains, the only one I can find at all which sells .id is https://www.gandi.net and they charge €150.00 each, but they don't have a module, you could reach out to them or find out if they have a API and open a feature request?
