Ioncube Issue

I am uploading latest blesta to my server. Getting following file

 

Fatal error: The file *********/blesta/app/app_model.php was encoded by the ionCube Encoder for PHP 5 and cannot run under PHP 5.5. Please ask the provider of the script to provide a version encoded with either the ionCube Encoder for PHP 5.3 or for PHP 5.4. in Unknown on line 0

 

PHP 5.5

ionCube Loader

Status: Installed: version 4.5.2

 

Any help is appreciated

You need to update your ioncube loader.

Thanks for your reply. But test.php says version 4.5.2 is installed which is the latest version?

4.5.2 is the latest but it doesn't support PHP 5.5 (which you have).  You have to wait until the creator of ionCube updates the encoder.

I don't know why they always lag behind in releasing loaders. They have months of beta acces to the latest releases.

Yeah, they are slow unfortunately. Blesta runs perfectly fine on PHP 5.5 in our tests, but that's in our dev environment unencoded.

Simply because they can, they have little incentive to stay on top of the ball with the market share they have.
