  1. Further testing, moving over a friends server it appears it is an issue with the mysql server.
  2. It worked fine until I upgraded from b3 to b7. Now if I try to add an existing cpanel service to existing client. I get the error below, but it actually still adds the service to the server, but the service will not show up. The database seems to be working as I earlier today added another admin and it added that fine. Any clues as to what may of went wrong? Oh noes!Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=490099 on line 124 in /home/reason/public_html/billing/lib/model.php Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'PDOException' with message 'SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2006 MySQL server has gone away' in /home/reason/public_html/billing/lib/model.php:124 Stack trace: #0 /home/reason/public_html/billing/lib/model.php(124): PDOStatement->execute(Array) #1 /home/reason/public_html/billing/components/record/record.php(215): Model->query('INSERT INTO `se...', Array) #2 /home/reason/public_html/billing/components/session/session.php(256): Record->insert('sessions', Array) #3 [internal function]: Session->sessionWrite('fb9b71ab43c164f...', 'blesta_id|s:1:"...') #4 /home/reason/public_html/billing/components/session/session.php(46): session_write_close() #5 [internal function]: Session->__destruct() #6 {main} thrown in /home/reason/public_html/billing/lib/model.php on line 124 edit should add when it hangs my cpu usage goes to 8% which even when cron jobs runs its normally only using 2%
  3. I don't agree with them basically black mailing their customers to upgrade. How so you may ask? Well, (unless I am misinterpreting) becuase they have stated that in the near future they will release how the nine exploits are done. This would leave anyone vulnerable that has not updated. :"Once sufficient time has passed to allow WHMCS customers to update their installed software, WHMCS will release additional information regarding the nature of the security issue." Now, I am sure they are not going to give exact instructions, but any good information on the exploit and most hackers can pick up on the rest rather quickly.
  4. I love this idea, as for an example , if lets say a hacker happens to find out one of your employees logins this prevents that individual from stealing peoples information as easily. Paswords not viewable to me is just a must, customer can have it reset instead. To me it is a common practice everywhere but the web hosting industry.
  5. This is still a big work in progress especially the front page. I had an old website that was just for my local customers which I have hosted last several years. My primary business has been onsite network repairs and that. My wifes disability is getting worse she has refractory clusters of tonic seizures. She also has complex partial seizures with intractable epilepsy. Due to her medical conditions I am looking to work more from home. So I wanted to grow and have an automated billing system which is what has caused the complete revamp of the website as well as my purchase of Blesta =). http://billing.reasonablewebhosting.com/ Anyways please let me know what you think of the billing integration theme we are working on here. EDIT oops sorry if its over worded just trying to explain why the main page is in complete revamp at the moment.
