For ticket auto-replies, do you mean the initial ticket received email? You can currently set an auto-close ticket response per department, but not the initial auto reply. One thing we're planning is CORE-1358 which allows for custom email templates to be created. It may be possible then, after that, or in conjunction with that, to allow the selection of different templates in different areas of Blesta.. including auto-replies and separate templates per department. So, this suggestion may fit well with that task, and be dependent on it.

Can you take a look under Settings > System > Basic Setup for "Root Web Directory". Is this path correct, ie, does it include the full server path to, and including your billing sub-directory? When Blesta runs via the cron, it can't tell what the URL is, and it relies on this setting to determine the path. At least, that's what it's suppose to be doing.

Yeah, sorry about that. I didn't realize the variable wasn't available to the template. 3.3 is in a feature freeze, and as of just now we have a 3.3.0-b1 build that's in QA.

See CORE-1274. Attachments are not sent via email, as they may be too large. Instead, attachments can be downloaded via the browser. If you look at this task, you can update your email template to include a link to the ticket if there are any attachments by copying the conditional in the task. I've added it here for reference. {% if ticket.reply_has_attachments %} Files have been attached to this ticket reply. You may visit {update_ticket_url} to view the ticket and download the attachments. {% endif%}

Check that your temp directory, as defined under Settings > System > General is correct and writable. It should start and end with a forward slash, ie /tmp/. If files are not being written when emailed in, then your mail server user may be different, and you may need to set appropriate permissions on your uploads directory, as well as your temp directory.

The same email template "Staff Ticket Updated" is used for both new and updated ticket notifications to staff. It may be possible to put a conditional in the subject and body to indicate whether it's new or updated, but that will depend on whether that information is available to the template. If it's not available to the template, we should probably make it available, and then also update the default, out of the box content for the message to make the distinction.

If you can't download the backup manually, sending over SFTP or Amazon S3 is definitely not going to work, so that's where to start. Check that your temp directory as defined under Setting > System > General is correct and writable. Then, double check that mysqldump exists and can be executed by your cron user and web server user. Finally, I believe Blesta may be looking in /usr/bin/mysqldump for mysqldump. If it exists in a different location, try creating a symlink. ie ln -s /your/path/to/mysqldump /usr/bin/mysqldump

Awesome, glad you got it figured out!

Take a look at the error log under Tools > Logs > Gateway and click the Stripe entry to expand it and display the raw input/output. There may be more information here.
-
You receive that email from PayPal? Sounds like something fishy is going on. Check the logs in Blesta for PayPal under Tools > Logs > Gateway, click to expand and show the input/output.

If you try to download the backup manually, does it work? Settings > System > Backup > Download Backup When you click the "Test These Settings" link for Amazon S3, is it successful?

I just PM'd you a new trial key.

Blesta relates to cPanel/WHM on the basis of the cPanel username. The cPanel password is irrelevant for API requests. If there are any problems with communication for a cPanel service and the cPanel server, the first thing to check is that the username is correct. It can be updated by clicking Manage for the service, and setting the correct username. Be sure to uncheck "Use Module", unless you are trying to change an already correct username.

We spoke via a support ticket. I think some real-world examples would be helpful.

I Need Help Solving A Problem With Installing The Program Blesta
Paul replied to vbrito's question in Pre-Sales Questions
I get the error Database connection FAILED. Ensure that you have created the database and that the credentials are correct. My best guess is a bug in that specific MySQL version, or something to do with it's configuration. Not a common error by any means. Do you have a different MySQL server you can attempt an install on? -
The outstanding balance is not carried forward to the new invoice. However, the previous balance IS available to the PDF.. the data is there, so you could modify the PDF to include that if you want to. There was some debate in the past about this, and I think making it an option would be the best way to go.

Try enabling error reporting To enable error reporting, edit /config/blesta.php and change Configure::errorReporting(0); to Configure::errorReporting(-1); Then, try running your cron manually under Settings > System > Automation, and repeat the other steps where you received the 500 error. You might see more about the error. Also make sure that curl SSL is installed, and that you still meet the minimum system requirements for Blesta posted here http://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Installing+Blesta To be sure, you can upload another copy of Blesta into a sub-directory, and then go start the installation just to see if it matches the system requirements.

I Need Help Solving A Problem With Installing The Program Blesta
Paul replied to vbrito's question in Pre-Sales Questions
What version of MySQL are you running? What is the OS? (I think phpinfo indicates Debian, but just want to confirm) What version of Blesta are you installing? -
I sent you a PM with a new trial key. If you are still having trouble, please use that one. If you didn't have a trial before, most likely you were installing it at localhost or a hostname that someone else already obtained a trial key for.

We use and recommend Jira by Atlassian. It's likely there will be a project management plugin for Blesta in the future, but it's not a very high priority at the moment.
-
The URL shouldn't really matter, because Blesta tells PayPal where to send it via the payment button code. To enable IPN though, PayPal requires a URL.. Please let us know if that works for you.

I've assigned this to CORE-1369 as a "Task". I'm not sure this is a bug with Blesta so much as it is a bug with the domain registrar as we rely on them to do the lookup. It seems like they should be running string to lower on the input if it causes a problem.. but, this should fix it!
-
I don't see a task for it, and I was able to duplicate. CORE-1368 Thanks for the report!

I do like this idea, and you make a good point. I think we need more feedback from people on this before we can justify the dev cycles, but it's certainly a possibility. This feature I think would necessitate a separate option, which would be useful now as well. It may be necessary to disable all payment notices, so I created CORE-1367 which allows you to toggle off payment notices on a per-client basis. Let's get some more feedback on your suggestion.

I believe the orders widget does appear on a fresh install. If you create additional staff though, by default they do not have any widgets installed.
