    Backup

    The backups perform a database backup only. Running the on-demand backup, depending on the size of your database, should be relatively quick -- no more than a minute or two typically. If running it manually is timing out, chances are good that it wont complete. Verify 2 things. 1. Your server has the mysqldump binary. 2. You have 1 or both backup methods configured properly, either Amazon S3 or SFTP or both.
  2. Modules can define what appears here. CORE-710 is a task that will add a section to enter custom HTML with tag replacement for a Universal Module product to control what appears in the expandable area.
  3. If it was a firewall issue, there should still be a log of cPanel attempting to provision the account and just not getting any response. Some screenshots of the module config, package, and active service may help.. if you want to provide any of that, just redact any sensitive information. If you prefer we get in and take a look, feel free to open a ticket with your login details.
  4. You are welcome to release it if you want. We will continue building our official importer, but people may find yours useful in the meantime.
  5. If nothing shows up under Tools > Logs > Module tab, then the cPanel module may not have attempted to create the account at all. Are you certain that the package ordered is set to use the cPanel module? Does the service appear as being active on the clients profile page?

    It didn't make it in, unfortunately.. then we expanded the intended purpose of the feature to make it more robust, by allowing finer grain control over what is migrated.

  8. I am suspicious of Percona Mysql: v5.5. This is an apparent issue with a query. Are you able to test on a normal MySQL 5.5 server?
  9. I don't see anything inherently wrong with the way you've configured this. I think we will need to try to duplicate the issue, to see if we can confirm this as being a bug or not. Has anyone else been able to confirm?
  10. The license is eligible for transfer, and support & updates are good through Aug 14, 2014. The OP is requested to email sales@blesta.com and CC the purchaser once a sale has been completed.

    Paypal Fees

    At some point you have to look at getting a merchant account and using a merchant gateway. If you have enough volume, it makes sense. Of course some people will prefer to pay with PayPal or 2Checkout or whatever, but anything you charge through your merchant account is likely to be at a better rate. We are planning to partner up with some awesome merchant providers shortly, which will hopefully mean really good rates on merchant accounts.
  13. Any changes to the invoice template should be requested as a feature request. Editing the invoice template as suggested would be the way to go. You could also create your own invoice template, since v3 supports additional templates.. and make the changes to your new template. This would prevent it from being overwritten in any upgrades.
  14. We added several modules during the beta, as well as additional features and improvements to existing features. Still, adding new features to a beta isn't ideal because those features that are released towards the end of a beta don't go through as much testing before final release. With 3.0 out now, and known bugs being few, we're able to start transitioning to development for 3.1 and beyond. We are still less than 2 weeks after a major, full-rewrite, all new release and while there is a lot we want to do, and will be doing, stability is more important.
  15. This is correct. The application knows where, under this path, where to put other files and directories. Make sure you have a "system" and a "1" directory in uploads, and that their are writable. The rest will happen automatically, and you just use the /home/username/uploads/ path to your uploads directory in the setting.
  16. Is there a directory named "1" in your uploads directory? If not, create it and set it to writable.
  17. The license was not purchased directly. We emailed the distributor and are waiting to see if they will allow the transfer. We do this to ensure that there are no debts or other reasons that would prevent us from doing a transfer. I'll update this thread when we hear back.

  19. It's true that HB has had very rapid development, but they neglect bugs. Our primary focus is security, and then resolving bugs, and then new features. I can see the appeal with HB's rapid development, but I also believe it will come crashing down. A rocket goes up quickly, and also comes down quickly.
  20. It looks like an error returned by SolusVM. Individual servers don't have their own API (except for node to master communication, which we don't get in the middle of), all requests we make are to the solusvm master. When you provision a VPS though, the master still wants to know what node to put the VPS on. When you configure the package in Blesta, I believe you can specify the specific node, or a group that the VPS should be provisioned on. Whatever is set here, may not be matching up with what your solusvm master is expecting.
  21. Yeah, ticket system provides the only method by which clients can upload files at the moment. We may do more in the future with client file uploads depending on demand.
  22. For order notices, you want to make sure you have the Order System widget installed on the billing overview page. Then click the gear/cog icon in the window decoration for the widget. Each staff with this widget can set their order notification preferences.
  23. We do have en_uk available for translation at http://translate.blesta.com. How similar is AU to UK English? They seem pretty similar to me, but I'm not British or Australian, so I can only assume there are some nuances at least.
  24. Thanks for the recommendation. Support tickets support file attachments, do you think the attached files should be sent via email in the ticket update?
  25. My first computer was running Windows, and in a typical work day I use Windows, Linux, and OSX. I find each has their strong points. I only first became interested in Apple computers with the introduction of OSX. As a Linux guy, I was drawn in by the shell.. where I feel most comfortable. So, it's a Macbook pro and a Windows and Linux desktop.
