    Serious Cache Issue?

Good to hear that you've isolated it to that particular VPS. Very curious what the issue is there, but awesome that it's working on a new VPS.
  2. It was good chatting with you. I have not yet attempted to replicate the issue, but Mike said he was able to confirm it so I added it to task CORE-782, tentatively scheduled for a 3.0.4 patch. I wanted to update this thread to reference it publicly and we will try to respond here once the issue is confirmed and resolved.
  3. Of course, no worries. We can still be friends, and I have a feeling you'll be back in the future.
  4. More bugs were found, these are not new bugs. The fact remains that every bug patch makes Blesta more and more stable. It's a good thing these are being discovered and we are quick to fix them. Most of the bugs are pretty minor. Don't pretend that you sold your license because of bugs, you already said you sold it because Blesta doesn't do what you need it to do yet -- you want better support for dedicated servers. That's completely reasonable. Complaining about bug patches containing bugs is pretty silly.

    Serious Cache Issue?

CF is still suspect if the A record points to them and not directly to your server. Odd though that it would just be Chrome, but the caching must be happening outside of Blesta because Blesta only caches the navigation links.

    Serious Cache Issue?

Blesta doesn't actually do any caching on that page. Blesta only caches the navigation elements. Are you doing any caching on the server, using a service like CloudFlare, or have any extensions installed in Chrome that may be causing the issue?
  7. Invoices should be voided, and clients can be made inactive. There's a thread on this here that would be worth checking out - http://www.blesta.com/forums/index.php?/topic/214-suggestion-remove-invoices-and-services
  8. Haha. There are not more and more bugs every release, these are bug patches that's the whole point. After a major, complete-rewrite release, this is absolutely expected. Honestly I'm surprised there have not been more. Should we not do bug patches?
  9. Thanks, only a short snippet on the API, but looks promising.
  10. We have a task to add this feature to the cPanel module. Are you suggesting it be added for a specific module?
  11. What is the time zone set to in Blesta? Settings > Company > General > Localization What is your time zone? What is the time zone for the server? Blesta stores all dates & times in UTC, and converts them for display. I did notice recently though that revenue today appeared to be off as well. It's possible that there's a bug in the time conversion. If that's the case, you should see an offset in the revenue today. It may be correct for part of the day.
  12. I believe this is a bug, you should be able to leave all package and service fields blank for a universal module product.. setting it up like Mike suggests is a good workaround for the moment.
  13. I didn't see the webinar, but the security advisor features look pretty cool. Interested in knowing more about any API changes.
  14. Some people bought with the intention of flipping them after the price went up. Some people bought more than 1 license when it was on sale and are getting rid of extras. They'll dry up pretty soon.
  15. What happens if you add a single service field that is not required and hidden?

    Routes

Most upgrades it will be safe to skip the config directory, but you'll want to compare the original previous version file to see if there are any differences. We are planning to implement easy updates through the interface. (Click to download and upgrade) It'll be a little while for this, but when we do it it's likely it would only overwrite files that have changed.
  17. We will be doing an affiliate system plugin, however it's pretty low priority at the moment.
  18. The license is valid, support and updates good through Aug 14, 2014
  19. The license is valid and eligible to transfer. Support & updates good through Aug 14, 2014.
  20. You can purchase addon companies during checkout for a new license, but cannot order them for an existing license yet. To get an addon company for an existing license just open a ticket and let us how many you need. We'll add them and invoice you. Pricing is $95/each or $350 for 5. It's one time, and can be applied to an owned license only (no monthly options yet). There is no additional yearly maintenance for addon companies.

    Discount To Clients?

CORE-639 % discounts for client groups tentatively scheduled for 3.1. It's not completed yet.
  22. CORE-763 is tentatively scheduled for 3.2, yes.
  23. The trial is super easy to get rolling with and nobody besides you can screw it up.
  24. While we don't have any docs for importing from whmcs up yet, it may be helpful for you to review the import from Blesta 2.5 here http://docs.blesta.com/display/user/Migrating+to+Blesta You should install a fresh copy of v3. Then, take a backup of the database, so you can roll it back to a fresh install after doing a test import. You should do a test import and then verify everything works correctly. If there are any issues, let us know. We are still working on the importer and are happy to work with you through any issues. Also, we don't recommend turning on the cron in v3 until you're ready to go live. Until you turn the cron on, you can always go back. Nobody will be charged, nothing will be sent, etc unless performed manually. Also note that admin accounts in whmcs use MD5 passwords. You can enable support for these by editing config/blesta.php and enabling legacy password support. Once the staff member logs in, their password will be updated automatically to a bcrypted HMAC-SHA-256 password. We suggest disabling the legacy support after enough time has passed.

    Core-715 Lives On

Understood. Just to clarify, Cody and I discussed the issue offline and I insisted that it was possibly a bug because of what you said in your original post: It was my understanding by your description of the issue that Restricted packages that were Addons may still appear on the order form. It was a reasonable assumption based on what you said. Since CORE-715 was suppose to resolve this and we confirmed that it was solved for standard packages (non-addons), I thought we may have overlooked restricted addons. What we learned was that you meant it's the Group that appears, not the Restricted Addon Packages. I think what you consider pervasiveness, is actually us not understanding at first what you meant. It wasn't worded correctly, and it was reasonable for us to think we may have missed a particular case. Back to this issue. I see 2 ways forward. 1. Add a setting in the admin area that will force empty package groups not to display on the order form. 2. Never display empty package groups on the order form. You see #2 as being the solution, and view it as a bug. We think some people may want empty package groups to display and are leaning toward #1. We are building for a wide audience. Differences in opinion are welcome, but we're not pervasive just because we disagree. And you make good points, worth considering. Whichever way we go forward on this issue, it will end up working like you want. The only reason we have to become less open minded and ignore or avoid requests and ideas is if things start to become hostile. We aren't interested in drama. Like I said before, if we can move forward on the basis that people understand and trust that we aren't being shady then discussion on all topics can be productive. If you had this assumption to begin with and tried to understand why we did what we did I think you would have been less critical. I think we all want most of the same things, but there will occasionally be contention.. that's to be expected. I just ask, please don't assume the worst of us because we're not in agreement on everything.
