    Am I the only one too stupid to understand how to configure DKIM and SPF? Every time i think I have this configured correctly one of the "BiG" email providers like Hotmail/Outlook/Google changes the rules of the game. Here is a bounce: A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: [url=mailto:user@hotmail.com]user@hotmail.com[/url] SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: host mx3.hotmail.com [207.46.8.167]: 550 5.7.0 (BAY004-MC5F5) Message could not be delivered. Please ensure the message is RFC 5322 compliant. What can be done server-side to make the users' default DKIM and SPF work correctly? None of the users know or understand what these are. They only know how to go to cPanel and enable them.In my case they are sending and receiving from their 'domain.com. But they are actually sending and receiving from the WHM's mail server. Anyone have experience with this annoyong topic?
  3. It would be nice to schedule mailings by client 'groups'. For instance, if the client is in a group that owns a domain name, but no hosting, we can send them promotions and coupons for hosting without bothering those that already have hosting.
  4. Thanks for this! I was also able to remove "registering with a user name" thereby forcing the user name to be the email address. To the OP: This modification also has to be done on the ordering templates. This workaround only applies to the registration form, not to when they are registering during the purchase. In my case I had to make this mod on 3 seperate template files.

  8. OK, i'll do that this weekend. Can any and all of the template files be modified? I suppose it is time to setup a copy of blesta for development only. But losing changes on an update is frustrating.
  9. Blesta gives an option to change the starting mumber. The problem with deleting items in the data base only happens when we change the starting number. They match in the db when we leave the default. Blesta changes the starting number to the custom number on the invoices in the admin panel but not in the database. So if we do NOT set a custom starting number then we can find and delete items easily. If not, it is difficult to match the number to the one we want to delete.
  10. Hi Dan At least removing the option to signup with a user name is a reasonable work around. (thanks) I suspect what happened isshe did not see the "sign in" feature and just filled out the form. In her email to me she said she was confused on what to do at that step. She also said it was confusing when she got to the 'config' domain page even though I have the DNS servers already set. She overlooked the domain privacy check box at the bottom, so i had to manually add it. Now that I have Blesta in production there are several aspects that are confusing customers. The biggest one is handling Domain transfers. One guy said he thought he was buying a new domain and stopped the process. When I sent him back to do it again he said the pages look identical to when "buying a domain" until he got to the very end where there is a box for the EEP code. These pages also need to be modified for UI/UX clarity. Another confusing item is the paypal logo. It does not say "PAY" or "Buy". Some clients do not think to click without direction. These are common sense changes that should have been part of the UI/UX development IMHO. It is one thing to write great "code". It is something all together different to make that code provide a good user experience. We have to remember that not everyone is as computer literate as we want them to be. They need the process to be simple and clear. Hopefully the developers will keep this in mind when they are designing the UI. Is there a list of pages that can and can't be modified?
  11. 80%? wow, If I were making a test account i would also setup and use a test email address. It is a simple matter to cancel the services in one account and then add them back in the duplicate account. Nonetheless, there is not a simple way to delete the account where the services have been cancled and moved. That requires going in to the database. However, the account ID's in the database do not match the Blesta's ID numbers in the admin control panel for invoices, etc. So someone could accidently delete the wrong item. We at least need a way to delete account items, and ultimately the account itself, without having to do data base changes. When is the ability to "merge" accounts going to be available?

  15. I have a client that i manually added to Blesta. Latter she ordered just a domain name only. Instead of logging in to her existing account she filled out the form again. This means she registered twice. She used the same email address each time she registered. Why did Blesta not catch this and have her log in instead. IOW why did Blesta allow registering twice with the same email account? How can I merge these in to one account? The merge features says it is unavailable.
  16. We really need a way to send ourselves a test email so we can check them for style and accuracy. Have i missed that? Or is that not a Blesta feature?
  17. You're a genius! It was a double {package_html} and a double Hi{contact.first_name}. One in the template and one in the group U da'man! Also, for those searching for an answer about duplicate content in emails: If you put your logo in the signature do not put it in the template or in the group's email - else it will show twice too.
  18. Testing 'New Service Activated' email. When a client purchases a service like hosting they are getting double content. The welcome email includes (at the top) the email template under /settings/company/email templates/service creation/ as well as the information that I put in the /packages/browse/package ID/. I don't have a problem with the email including the data in the email template, but it is also including the data that I put in the /packages/browse/package ID/ TWICE. I've attached a copy of the email in html format. Any help or ideas why the data would be put in the email twice? New Service Activated.html

  21. No. I thought there was a default email. Will using the package form send the client their cpanel user name and pass as well as confirm their domain name registration?
  22. These do not work. They are not sending the info with the email Hi {contact.first_name}, Your service has been approved and activated. Please keep this email for your records. {package.email_html} {package.email_html} {package.email_text} When their account is provisioned the client gets nothing. When i send a test email these do not show up. Any ideas?
  23. bump It would be nice to also collect more money for a premium domain name using a seperate plug in and order form. Or have a seperate module to handle premium names. any ideas?
