Modules - Available doesn't work

So I'm trying to install a module and when I go to Settings -> Company -> Modules - I see the 4 that are installed already. When I click on Available, nothing happens (just shows what is installed).

I uploaded the module to components/modules - saw some default modules in here, so not sure why those wouldn't show up either?

i bet your on php7 its encoded for 5.4 if i remember correctly

which module? First guess would be something wrong in the module code, second possibly the encoding may not suit your php version.

Moved it out of the module folder and volia the others show up so I'll ask them about it. Sounds about right. It was the SolusVM extended module.
