but i can not give the username en password in blesta what i have set in centova

I am confused, if you click on manage under the service that you created for a client you should be able to manually input data there. Such as but not limited to the username and password attributes.

so i need to change the passwords and the username in centova?

If you input the same info inside Blesta, it will just be like just updating Blesta. Since their information is already been set before.

There no manual inputs that you can put? For Cpanel/WHM all I would has to do is click "manage" underneath each service and then apply the credentials there.

but with a pre-order you pay a retail shop, but with this people paid on a crowdfunded with all funds going even if they didn't meet the target. If I pre-ordered a game with Argos (uk shop) I'm protected by the UK laws and regulations but if the shop closed down and into administration I could lose everything. Happened to Game: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2013/dec/05/playstation-4-gamers-frustrated-ps4-pre-order-failures-game-sony

They only got their PS4 because Game was saved by another company.

True but if a business cares about their customers they would go above and beyond their legal obligations. Even repaying via personal means if they has to.

Just because they won't end up in court for it doesn't means they should not follow suit.

Either provide target or pay them back, it's that simple.

That's the issue of donating, to donate you are essentially giving money to help it. If you bought it you would be protected by the money back guarantee / PayPal. But there's been no movement, no updates, no previews so I'm just watching and thinking shall we mark it as broken to alert others that the module is un-useable in it's current form.

Even then, was a business donation. It's wasn't like donating to a cause. Aka he should still refund who all contributed for this as that was their expectations for doing so.

Much like how you pre order a video game. If they don't deliver it then gamers want their money back right?

so is nothing to do with our request .

sometimes we need to merge two invoice (with deferent dates, services) in one new/exist invoice . and void the old invoices, this need a lot of manual work and we can do this with 1 click if blesta add this option !!!

Please refrain from stating my inputs as invalid to this request. As the OP said...

might i ask a option to merge two invoices or more  in a single invoice  .

normally the merged invoices should be voided, added a Note, then create a new invoice with all the lines from the merged invoices.

another scenario is to select the  destination invoice for the merged invoices, then void only the merged one .

That option does merges two or more invoices. Even if it not to your liking please do not accuse of being 100% irrelevant.

    Thank you.

what is the relation between my request "Merge Invoices" and your description?

That option merges invoices if they are posted for the same day. My description was intended to show how I handle that to leverage that feature as much as possible.

This "kinda exists" for services on the same day. What I tell my customers that any upgrades and such they want they would just would has to pay a prorated invoice that way they pay full price on their next term.

    1. Easier on the customer and that they pay for what they are going to use

    2. If they still want it then I don't need to process two or more payments per term. Cheaper and less processing on my end.

So it's a win for both me and the customers. :)

Unless you are logging metrics, it's impossible to say for sure how many times the average user is submitting the form. The sample size is also pretty small. Most customers aren't as familiar with and as fluent as us in filling out information on a website, so they're prone to making more mistakes, which makes 123 additional checks not sound so far-fetched.

There are a couple things that prevent fraud checks from working that way:

    1. Some people may want it to check against incomplete data (e.g. @timnboys)
    2. Knowing whether the data is incomplete or not depends on the rule validation when creating a new client, so in that case you would need to create the client before running the fraud check to determine whether or not you can create the client (a circular pre-requisite)

Thank you for the clarification regarding all of this.

I can understand that which means they should implement an IP block. We get way too many support tickets about this and live chats with frustrated customers. There has to be somewhere to 'meet in the middle' and figure out a bettwork workable solution.

Definitely I can understand there may be a better solution to this. However I am confused on how customers are unable to reset their passwords on a regular basis. Sure I can get that on occasions that one may forget but if they are "forgetting" their emails on a regular basis there may be deeper "problem". For example if they use a non primary email (which may indicate that they are "hiding" or going to commit "questionable activities". ).

  11. 20 minutes ago, evolvewh said:

Right now, if someone leaves the username field blank or enters an email address that does not exist, Blesta still says 'A confirmation email has been sent to the address on record.' when in fact, nothing is ever going to be sent to them. I'd like to request that Blesta validates what is entered and if it's blank, display a message saying 'Please enter a valid username' or if the email address does not exist in the system, say 'There is no match  in our system for the email address you entered' or something along these lines.

While Blesta need to up their improvements this is actually not one of them. The reason why this is the case is because it's to "spoil" exploiters from breaching clients' accounts. If they "think" that their entry "worked" then they will be less likely to keep on trying.

It's kinda like cities having empty police cars, plain and simple but tends to work. :)

No different groups  only one group on the order form  do i need to create a order form for every package i create?

I understand what's going on... Okay at the bottom of the order form you need to move the OTHER group into it and then it will show up on the same order form. :)

well I like how the fraud check works currently since my anti fraud module I have it set to run each time a new order/client signs up and I want it to trip on any incomplete forms and non-payments to block and reject anyone it finds suspicious. though I would be open to providing @camgullo and you @MineHarvest66 with a free owned license of my anti fraud module since it checks both for fraudrecord reports & vpn/tor/etc checks as well since I have used fraudlabs pro before and can tell how fast the free plan credits disappears and it is not just on blesta that I have seen it happen also on whmcs which I used to use, as well which is why I set out and built my own anti fraud module to resolve this for myself.

I just sent a PM to you with my installation's domain so we can move forward. :)

Assuming a 'credit' is used each time an API call is made to FraudLabs API, 36 new client sign ups would result in a minimum of 36 credits subtracted. If the new users encountered an error, or some users never completed the sign up form with valid information, then that number would be higher, and 123 is not necessarily unrealistic.

That is correct and that is the amount that should happen for 36 clients for "just sign ups".

123 seems be rather high to me. That's a rate over 300% credits usage. I would think that at most 50% would be more "typical" .

I took a look at the fraud verification checks and everything appears to be working as it should. The only improvement I can foresee making is possibly caching specific customer information and not performing the verification check again if that information hasn't been changed. This might reduce the number of fraud verifications performed to some extent, but it is still easy to spam sign ups and cause additional verification requests as previously mentioned.

Why not... Just make it check upon successful actions? So when a client actually fills in the whole form? When an order is successfully paid for and similar actions?

That way there is no "tripping" of incomplete forms and non payments?

  15. 28 minutes ago, Tyson said:

Do you have a lot of user sign up attempts? There could be spammers/bots continuously making POST requests to the sign up form, but providing insufficient information to create a client, which would a fraud check to be performed each time without resulting in any orders or new user accounts. I can only speculate as to what actually occurred in your particular case, but I can say that Blesta's order plugin will only attempt to perform fraud checks for new sign ups and when checking out.

For me it not draining when nothing happening. But I don't have enough activity yet to say for certain. BUT according to the recent reply it seems to be ongoing problem. As well as the other entity I mentioned.

The FraudLabs integration is a component used by the Order plugin, but yes, it was originally written by another party (Hexasoft Development). The FraudLabs integration is rather simple, making an API call to verify the customer information against a fraud score to determine whether to deny either:

    1. The customer from creating an account during signup
    2. The customer from creating an order during checkout

In either case (depending on your configured Anti-Fraud Frequency setting), if the customer encounters an error with these actions and re-submits their information again, another fraud check will be triggered.

Interesting and I can understand that... But we have the OP doing over 125 orders/month. I also know for a fact that @GosuHost one of the guys there says that their installation is doing the same thing too.

I doubt with all of these repeated instances that it solely due to select clients needing to re submit payments/info.

Yesterday i tried to install Blesta, after some hours of work and some help here in the forum i managed to install it correctly. I tried to login this morning but i get this error:

    License Invalid

The license failed to validate for the following reasons:

Sorry, a trial has already been issued for this domain and is no longer valid. To obtain a new trial key, please contact sales@blesta.com. If you'd like to purchase a license, please visit www.blesta.com.

I thought that the trial was for 30 days isn't it?

    Thanks

I think the license need to be re entered if you re install/change dir/the like so you should ask for a new one at sales as stated on the error message. For this to happen.
