I'd suggest creating a new module to accomplish that behavior. The Universal Module is not designed to make RPCs.

I ever renamed a payment gateway label, it's had to be done from direct change in database, certainlly in table like gateway

I had installed a duplicate module. Thank you very much renamed the module folder and installed modules again and it worked.
