Language Definitions

Hello,

 

I downloaded the Hungarian language pack which consists of the definitions I translated. However the English definitions are not included in the pack. Is there any way to download a language pack with the missing not-translated definitions?

 

I want first the client area make ready then the others.

I believe you uploaded the folder and use that code not en_us and anything not translated it will use the English.

I want to use Notepad to translate the files. But the yet not translated English definitions are not included in the Hungarian language files.

Don't think you can without editing the en_us folder and files.

Don't use notepad. Notepad adds a BOM (byte-order-mark) to any UTF-8 encoded files (which language files must be), and that is unacceptable. I'd recommend Komodo Edit, it's free.

The remaining untranslated definitions are not included in English for language packs. Blesta automatically defaults to a English definition if your language pack is missing it, so It would be redundant to include untranslated definitions from the translator.

 

And as Cody mentioned, translating the files manually can lead to other issues, like BOM. It also becomes very easy to create syntax errors, especially if you're not familiar with PHP and escaping characters, as well as sprintf-style variable replacement.
