Installing Blesta

Graham

Question

Having a few problems installing Blesta.

According to the install script:

The curl extension with a minimum version of 7.10.5 is required. Your version: FAIL

Checking my Machine:

Dedicated VM, Ubuntu 12.04 php 5.4.

Curl version 7.22.0

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks

G

Some reason Blesta's not dectecting it. Try uploading this to a folder: Check Blesta See what version Blesta can detect on that.

You might want to update the CURL version as I have 7.24 which is higher than your 7.22.

Script looks like: http://licensecart.net/verify-blesta.php

Paul, Cody and Tyson will be here to help in a few hours for you, so don't worry.

CURL is the only item that fails, it does look like it's not detecting any version of it.

  • PHP version: requires 5.0 - your version 5.4.19-1+debphp.org~precise+3
  • OpenSSL version: requires 0.9.6 - your version 1.0.1
  • CURL version: requires 7.10.5 - your version
  • MySQL: enabled
  • Suhosin: not loaded
  • GD Library: enabled for Graphs
  • GD GIF Support
  • GD PNG Support

Suhosin isn't required, so that's fine, does it find the GD formats mate? and yes it seems it can't detect the CURL. Which is the issue. You'll need the devs help as I've never installed Blesta on Ubuntu before. Sorry. It's 5am in California where the guys are from.

That's easy enough as I've been testing on a clean build VM all morning.

Could blow it all away for the 4th time and give it another go

Just wondered if re-installing curl wouldn't effect anything else on your server. But if it's possible it would be a good way to try before the devs can help. If that solves it, you'll be back on the road :).
