It looks like the 1st item in the list is using a private IP 10.128.x.x, which is mapped to a public IP 35.184.x.x? Is the public IP address a shared IP? If it's a shared IP, shouldn't it show the default page? Sorry if I'm not understanding, I'm assuming that by default page you mean the standard page that's show when accessing the IP address in a browser rather than the website's content that's usually displayed when accessing a shared IP rather than a dedicated IP. Or is that public IP address a dedicated IP? If it's a dedicated IP, and it only maps to 1 local IP, there may be some other issue going on with Plesk.

There are two default pages on Plesk...it looks exactlly same..but one is template for newly created accounts and second is server/hostname default template...so you can customize one on one way..second on other..

Now when you set nameservers or A record for some domain to pont on plesk server but you didnt add this domain to plesk ..that server will show default server/hostname page...in short every time you visit domain which plesk dont reckognize and that domain point to plesk server...default server template will be served. In this case plesk see other, non mapped IP,as broken....because it doesn't exist from plesk point of view...it throw up default server/hostname template...insted files in domain root dir...

This setup, per your image doesn't seem to be working for me. :(

Everytime I register a new domain is automatically puts it on the public IP which then only displays the default page. So frustrating.

Well I'm not using NATed servers for some time...since there are few updates for both onix and Plesk 12.5 till than...it may not work any more ..Now I wil check on my test VPS is there any way to force this to work...now till than you can change IP manualy in domains--->domain.tld--->web hosting access. I know this is odd but at least blesta will create new account.I cant offer any other solution from my head eight now...I suppose you tryed option re-read IP.If this is bug on plesk side than it is not problem to open request on plesk dev forum or plesk support portal, problem is clearly happen because Plesk doesn't reckognize public IP as existing IP...Now fist we shold chek is this bug on Plesk side...maybe check is this happen when using WHMCS or Client Exec..or any other scrript...I suppose same problem will happen as I know for sure there is no field for private IP in any script I mention....and I doubt

Now..I have plesk onix on my test VPS and this node is on my network and behind router so I can explore this issue..

    Maybe I'm missing something here.

I have the two IP's setup in Plesk, the internal is set as a shared IP and the public as dedicated. The command 'plesk repair dns' runs without error. Blesta also now creates full accounts as it did in my previous post. However, the same situation is occurring. The accounts are created on the dedicated IP and not the shared one. This causes the domains to be directed to the default Plesk page regardless of the content of the httpdocs.

Was there a way to specify which IP should be used for hosting?

Here is what I had ..and it worked

As you see first IP is maped from private to public..second is not maped

  4. Add your public IP as separete IP in plesk..and after that go and label it as dedicated IP so no account is created on this IP...make sure nated ip is used as default IP for creating accounts(you already sow plesk will just show default page if account is created on this IP)..I had Plesk servers behind NAT configured like this before Plesk had NAT auto map...not sure why your IP is not mapped properly but at this way you will have working solution till you fix it.You can also manualy change IP to NATed IP for existing domains and it will fix vhost isse..

Also you have to know that you can map public IP to private in Plesk admin panel but it will not mean anything till you run  plesk repair dns command ...

It happens because dns templates and zones for domains DNS needs to be changed also and this command will make sure it happens. So map public IP to private and run this command, than try to add account from blesta..

  5. here is screen shot..now on left side you see request from blesta to plesk..on right side is respons...now it is OK and works..but it was not till I incrase limits in mysql conf file, before that it was same case like you have nothings happen..there was no server group, server and service plan fields..nothing,like nothing was going on.But with this tool I could check requestes and responses.I find out that request is not completed ...and on left side in response tab there was "SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2006 MySQL server has gone away on...... "  insted of response from plesk..and thanks to this I know what to do..I'm not saying your case is same but at this way you can see is request completed.if not there will be error that can help you.

  6. Well I wil put my life on "SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 2006 MySQL server has gone away on...... "i had same issue on my and also on few client servers.. you'll have to look log file or use some debuger for browser to see what's going on while blesta communicate with plesk but in general this is related to mysql configuration and limits in conf file.

Now every browser has integrated dev tools ..console/debugger....if you open it(for example " inspector" in firefox) and select network(net) option you can see every request/response and if some of them is not 200/ok you can toogle it and see response in case when it is not 200/OK ..it is error. For tha particular case you'll have to look for POST blesta/admin/packages/moduleoptions/  and on right side you have option respones...or in some browsers just double click on request..

And when it comes to Onix i think it is marked as plesk 17.x.x

@CyberHour A bit off-topic but it's annoying me. You really need to install SSL on your Blesta install on your website.

Working for me also..nothe that on some mobile phones browsers can't parse SSL if on server only CRT and KEY is supplyed without CA-CRT...I had issues with some SSL on my servers...on 99.99% browsers everything OK but on some windows phones and Samsung galaxys not...than I sow that in all cases users just supply CRT and KEY without CA-CRT(most users don't supply ca-crt at all)...supplying ca-crt resolve issue...doesn't mean that is problem here..but just in case someone got similar issue..and can't find out..can look this

  8. Yes you have trigered Identity verification, once I have similar situation for US extension...US don't validate  every registration but they do it randomly  or if you  triger it..they call it data quality verification process , do you have different names and countries for Admin/tech/registrant...As I said It happen to me only once with US extension and I have to ask user to verify his identity as registrant...make sure you are the inside their registration policy when fill data for registrant/tech/admin,openSRS has verification page that can be customized..not sure for namecheap.

I was wondering how I might be able to change my installation location from examplehost/billing to / without invalidating my license.

Any guidance or pointers would be appreciated.

    Thank you

I think LicenseCart is right ,If I remeber corectly you can change directory of your instalation ,only if you change subdomain or completly domain/hostname you will have to reissue licence...

    Hi Michael,

By Services, I gather you mean when they are initially ordered by a person; yes I will not be manually creating client information in the long run of course.

I will have a look at cron jobs, but the part I am mainly concerned about at present is how to ensure I can get payment.

I appreciate the information you have given me, as I will need to know about that at some point.

    Thanks again

You will have to also set IPN (Instant payment notification) in pay pal, because when client pay blesta needs to know that payment is processed successfully....

In Paypal-->Profile-->Selling tools find IPN settings and set  https://yourdomain.com/blesta_directory/callback/gw/1/paypal_payments_standard

Just change value for yourdomain.com and blesta_directory

And also uncheck soundbox for live transactions

  11. Now as you have Blesta installed  you need to do this to start selling web hosting....this is where you need remote access key

1.Go to WHM/cPanel,generate and/or copy remote access key

2.In blesta under settings-->modules find cPanel module  and activate it

    3.Add server

4Fill required fields in cpanel module(host/ip,user name ,remote acess key....)

5.In blesta under packages click add packages

    6.fill required fields ..name,description,terms,price..etc

7.under module option select cpanel and wait few moments and new field will pop up..select your server(or group if you create one)

8.Under Group membership select one option....Add package to existing group or create new group

In case you add new group

9.Under packages click on order forms

10.Add new or edit existing order form, find group you created and add that group to order form

Maybe I skip some step....this is from my memory...

I found out the hard way, you need access to WHM rather than just CPanel so you can access the Remote Access Key which means you need true reseller hosting in order to be able to use Blesta.

It is no wonder WHMCS is such a stitch up.

What a fuck remote access key has anything with installing and using blesta....you made such a hard claim but seems you don't have even basic knowledge for such claims.......remote access key is used for selling and auto provisioning web hosting..for DNS clustering..etc..in short to connect to WHM/cPanel through API....this has nothing to do with installing and using Blesta or any other script...

To install and use Blesta you just need any hosting with PHP+ few more standard extensions..in short you can use it on any shared hosting account....You need remote access key only to sell web hosting NOT to install Blesta...there is no difference when it comes to this between WHMCS and Blesta or any other Billing script....

Yea no wonder WHCMS is such a stitch up...indeed ...my god...according to this i read in your post...well ...you sow "invalid licence key" error(which is standard when you change IP or host name ..even if you use WHMCS or any other script..and it can be solved by reissuing licence) than some how remote access key(used to connect to whm/cpanel through api and has nothing with Blesta) is your hard way which help you to solve issue....and as conclusion..you say "It is no wonder WHMCS is such a stitch up"

Every one who know anything about this will conclude probably you never sow WHMCS from admin side...sorry but I just got mad when see such claims ....it' like I say...hey I just drive my car..and than wheel explode..but it is OK I find hard way..I buy battery and now i'm on road again..well seems you can drive Fiat only if you have casco insurance....It is no wonder VW is such a stitch up

Within the options for the "Client Groups" is a checkbox for " Automatically Provision Paid Pending Services ".

In simple terms, does this mean that Web Hosting services will be auto-activated BEFORE payment is received ( IE - while payment is pending ) ?

    ============

If yes, and we turn this "off ", will the Web Host C-panel account be auto-created and activated AFTER payment is made in full ?

This mean that service for  which invoice has been paid will be activated by blesta on auto pilot,in short if client order web hosting(or any other service)..check out and paid invoice..this service will be autoprovisioned by blesta at selected interval.

Under company-->settings--->Automation you can select interval for auto provisioning paid pending service....every 5 minutes..10..etc.

    Five minute is default value.

Maybe this " Automatically Provision Paid Pending Services ". sound strange but it is not if you look closely...by default every service unpaid or paid is set as pending after order is completed...now you have option to autoprovison paid pending service or not..and also as I said you can select interval for auto provisioning.

  14. Just to be clear..it is not problem to select gateway  with monthly fee but whole reason to do that is to avoid high transaction fees. Some companies have bunch of low amount transactions per month and they will probablly look for merchant gateway where they can opt in for monthly charges. But in this case merchant charge monthly and still  transaction fee is very high.
