I know this has been mentioned in a couple cases through the forum, so I wanted to open a formal request on this.
It would be great if Blesta used shorter/ prettier URLs. Some like /ticket/23 instead of /plugin/support_manager/23 (may be longer than even that).
It would be great if there was an easy way in the system settings somewhere to shorten these URLs and set custom values.

This is an easy plugin , but have to built a "News" Plugin with the extra options to populate to Twitter and Facebook.

We are going to make it, (we have built one for WHMCS that Post to Twitter and Facebook wen we post to the "News" section)

We have now a list of new plugins and modules to release in the next weeks

    - Module: Blesta Universal Domain Registrar (the process will be similar to Universal Blesta Module, but more easy to config and just for Domains)
    - Plugin: Blesta Bookmarks (A Plugin to easily add Links to the Menu (Admin and/or Client Side) for External or Internal content with public and private notes)
    - Plugin: Blesta CSF Unlock (for cPanel and Directadmin)
    - Plugin: Blesta News (to easely publish news and with the options to populate to Facebook and Twitter)

Is going to be a busy month after 3.2 release lol

    Hi Paul,

Just wanted to throw a quick line in here letting you guys know that I'm perfectly okay with a Beta being released today (Saturday). I know it's the weekend and you guys might have some concern about releasing so I just wanted to go ahead and let you know that I'm okay with it.

Yes, that can be a problem in some places, and require the module/plugin to develop their own solution. The 3.2 client interface more-or-less takes care of this with loading bars, and we've just updated module service fields to do the same. Other ajax requests may require a custom solution in your plugin/module, depending on what you're trying to do.

The screenshots don't do it justice. These new order forms are incredible, and we've designed them to be super flexible. We didn't just slap together a few order form templates and toss them in. There's a lot of engineering and user expeirence design put into this release. The end result is pure awesome, and the best order forms in the industry by far.

Yes, soon. You will have time to integrate your design before final release.

lol, I would be ok with that too, unfortunately the office is empty. It's looking like Wednesday-ish. We're going to take Monday & Tuesday to polish some things up and finish some small remaining tasks. If nothing big comes up then we should stay on target for a mid-week beta release.

Not yet. A mass mailer plugin is planned as part of CORE-621. There's a good chance it will be included with version 3.3.

They use the Blesta theme colours so you can edit them via the style changer as far as I know.

The screenshot showing the boxes have a blue heading, I believe this is inherited from the panel color set for the client area. The slider version doesn't utilize any real color. Both have a header, and the header colors are part of the client theme which can be changed.

It's looking like the beta will be starting next week as we have a few things left to do to wrap up 3.2. If you're a direct customer, you will be able to participate in the beta as soon as it starts.

3.2 will have a total of 5 order templates you can select from, including.

    - Standard (The order form shipped with Blesta 3.0-3.1, converted to Bootstrap)
    - Ajax Boxes
    - Ajax Slider
    - Wizard Boxes
    - Wizard Slider

The new ajax order forms are essentially a one-page order form (for the most part) and come in two package selection options, boxes and a slider.

The new wizard order forms are essentially the ajax order form as a multi-step, and it support both the boxes and slider package selection options. The overall designs are basically the same.

Here's a screenshot of the ajax boxes, and ajax slider order forms. We look forward to your feedback, especially during the beta. We want these new order forms not only to look great, but to work great too.

IP Board scaled down the full size screenshots for some reason, so they appear a little blurry. They are smaller than the maximum size allowed, so not sure why it's doing that.

The wizard boxes and slider look identical to the ajax version, but the flow of the order form is multi-step. Additional designs will follow over time, at least initially with package selection. Here we have a slider and boxes design for package selection. We are likely to implement additional sliders and boxes that vary in look & feel and introduce other types like a vertical listing of packages for selection.

The implementation of new bootstrap based order templates makes it not only easier for us to move forward with new designs, but it makes it easier for others to customize the look on their own.

In a market saturated by hosting providers I think pricing and plan information is more important to the decision making process. We have many fewer competitors and people are more interested in our features to start with than the price.

Is your roundcube client slow at showing up messages? on cPanel I noticed the emails showed up in the inbox 3 minutes late, meaning I was always late replying to tickets by 3 minutes plus the time it takes for me to spot it.

Now on InterWorx recieving ticket emails and order emails was fast, well when I was looking though the settings I spotted this feature and I believe it's the cause of the delays.

Go to:  Roundcube >> Settings >> Preferences >> Mailbox View >> New messages >> Check for new messages on:

Set that to 1 minute, this means it will check for the new messages every minute meaning you can get the replies / etc faster.

I hope this helps a few people as it annoyed me on cPanel.

Thank you both Scott Horsley, MemoryX2 and Paul for the support and help as I had a few mistakes.

Please make sure you remember the link to your customer area for this.

Please be careful, this step is very important go to /config/blesta.php find the following line just at the bottom of the page:
Configure::set("Blesta.csrf_bypass", array()); and replace it with:
Configure::set("Blesta.csrf_bypass", array('client_login::index')); The link below must be the link to your client area we've edited the link ourselves by editing the file (/config/routes.php):
<form method="post" action="http://billing.licensecart.com/customers/login/"> Then after the custom code edits and the hard bit for a few people, simply copy the rest of the code below:
    sername: <input type="text" name="username" value="" id="login_username" /><br /> Password: <input type="password" name="password" value="" id="login_password" /><br /> <input type="submit" name="login" value="Login" class="btn" /> </form> You can use the "class=btn" if you are using the bootstrap framework on your website.

So the final code should look something like:
    <form method="post" action="http://billing.licensecart.com/customers/login/"> Username: <input type="text" name="username" value="" id="login_username" /><br /> Password: <input type="password" name="password" value="" id="login_password" /><br /> <input type="submit" name="login" value="Login" class="btn hide_submit" hidefocus="true" /> </form> That will now allow users to log straight into your billing system. You can use target="_blank" on the form to open into a new tab.

Using Bootstrap and wish to use the posh Modal just edit the code below:
    <!-- Button to trigger modal --> <li><a href="#login"role="button" data-toggle="modal">Login</a> <!-- Modal --> <div id="login" class="modal hide fade" tabindex="-1" role="dialog" aria-labelledby="myModalLabel" aria-hidden="true"> <div class="modal-header"> <button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-hidden="true"><i class="icon-remove text-error"></i></button> <h3 id="myModalLabel">Billing Area Login</h3> </div> <div class="modal-body"> <p><form method="post" action="http://billing.licensecart.com/customers/login/" target="_blank" style="width: 200px;margin: 0 auto 0 auto;"> Username: <input type="text" name="username" value="" id="login_username" /><br /> Password: <input type="password" name="password" value="" id="login_password" /><br /> <input type="submit" name="login" value="Login" class="btn hide_submit" hidefocus="true" /> </form></p> </div> <div class="modal-footer"> <button class="btn btn-danger" data-dismiss="modal" aria-hidden="true">Close</button> </div> </div> Good luck with your great layout and the best billing system.

One thing I'd like to see also, is a "test email" option where I can send a copy of the email to myself, perhaps randomly selecting a customer whos details will be used. This way, if I have a stupid error in the email I can correct it before sending it to everyone.

Paulov's suggestion of making it cron based would solve the issue of requiring the browser to be active while sending. Instead, the cron could send and log the message, and the browser would simply make ajax requests to Blesta to display that log dynamically. The downside is that you'd have to wait up to 5 minutes for the message to go out.

    Great suggestions
