Question On Multi-Company And Support Module + Viewing Clients

Rocketz

Question

When enabling Multi-Company, how does the support module work?

Will you see all the support tickets on the same page, and Blesta then takes care of which company the reply comes from? Or do you need to go into each company's support module to view and reply?

Are clients completely separated by company? Or can you view all clients for all companies on one page?

A multi-company makes each company separate, so you have to install plugins / modules / gateways per company.

Go into each, or open two tabs one with one hostname and the other with the other hostname. It's how I managed. the reason being is it's a completely different company that's the amazing thing with the feature, if you have another company hire staff and they can do their work on that company without knowing there's / accessing another one.

Separately.

As Mike mentioned, completely separate. You could have the support manager installed on one company, but not another. You could have staff be able to access support for 1 company but not another, or both, or have different roles and permissions in each company.

There have been a couple requests for the ability for support to see all tickets across all companies in a single view, and it's something we are considering as an option.
