MIXDE
Hi, can Blesta check against an existing external user database for authentication? I don't want to create two accounts on two different places. Thx!
serge
I do not understand your issue, one database user can have multi-connection.
MIXDE
Well, to be more precisely, I have to check the users against an other API...
serge
users certainly do not come from same host or other specificities, you can track also that way, if not like you said, you can create 2 users
serge
sorry I did not figured it was in the developer section. I believe you can grant blesta access using key & api
Blesta Addons
Well, to be more precisely, I have to check the users against an other API... if i have well understand your request, you have a database clients in other host/soft , you need to check from blesta the existing of this user exist on remote database , and if yes log in blesta . so , this possible , but it willnot work and is not recommanded , because blesta need it own users created in database , so it can generate invoice , let them add services , apply payment to thier accounts ..ect . so your best thing to do , is check againt remote databse and if is success create the user with the same details to blesta database . Tyson
Have you looked at the Shared Login plugin? If you're looking at authenticating a user between Blesta and another system, you can use that plugin.
