Modules do the work.
A module connects Blesta to the systems you sell — control panels, virtualization platforms, game servers, and domain registrars. Configure it once, and provisioning stops being a job.
The lifecycle
Every service, cradle to grave.
01 · Provision
Payment clears, account exists
The moment an order is paid, the module creates the account on your panel and the welcome email goes out with credentials. No queue, no human.
02 · Operate
Billing events drive panel actions
Invoice goes past due? The module suspends. Payment lands? It unsuspends. Customer upgrades? The new limits push to the panel automatically.
03 · Retire
Cancellations clean up after themselves
Immediate or end-of-term, a cancellation removes the account on the other side. Nothing left to remember, nothing left running for free.
Worked example — cPanel & WHM
One order, zero touches.
Here's a real service lifecycle through the cPanel module: the order is paid at 9:14, the customer is working by 9:15. Weeks later the invoice lapses and comes back — the account follows, both times, without a ticket.
Registrar modules
Domains are modules too.
Same lifecycle, pointed at a registry. Registrar modules register, transfer, and renew domains automatically — and the Domain Manager keeps TLD pricing synced from your registrar, with your markup rules applied.
Selling something we don't have a module for? The Universal Module handles anything with custom fields, emails, and manual steps — and plenty of third-party modules live on the Marketplace. Adding features to Blesta itself is a different job — that's a plugin.
