  1. Fixed the file.

    Changes made:

    1) Added the missing objectToArray() function

    2) Formatted the amount to be sent to braintree with two decimal rounding

    Download:

    https://www.lolitseasy.com/downloads/braintree_gateway.php.zip

Unzip and put under the location:

    ~installation folder~/components/gateways/merchant/braintree_gateway/

Customer was created and card was charged succesfully. I was able to see it in the dashboard and vault.

Other functions like void etc thorugh blesta need to be tested.

Glad to hear it still works. I've added that change you made and edited the original post.

  2. I saw a request for a BrainTree payment gateway and remembered that while ago we whipped one up as we were contemplating using BrainTree.

This was tested with test credentials but we never actually tested it or used it live.. there may be issues/bugs/etc and unfortunately as we don't currently use Blesta nor will we be using BrainTree, we won't be working on it/supporting it any further. I am 100% okay with Phillips Data, inc. taking over the plugin if they want to as we extended their stripe one to begin with, anyway.  Or anyone else who wants to take over development on it is fine too.

Anyway, feel free to test it out and report back here what you find for other users. Hope some folks find some value in this.

  3. Very nice work, love the design! Button colors look great, all around an awesome integration.

What do you use for your server status?

I use NodePing with some html/css trickery to make it kinda fit. Still have to work on it a bit.

  4. I soft launched our product last night complete with blesta integration. There are some custom client options we're working on, but those aren't ready to show off yet.

I know the design of the website will turn some people off, and I am perfectly okay with that. I wanted to do something a bit different and make it very easy and intuitive to navigate. Get to the website and get right to the point sort of thing.

  5. Security matters to me and that's why I am with Blesta. I will be the first to admit that there are certain aspects that are frustrating when compared to WHMCS or ClientExec. The lack of features vs WHMCS doesn't bother me too much as the only "must have" (in my opinion) feature that appears to be missing is the knowledge base. That frustration could come from a place of just knowing WHMCS because I've used it / set it up so many times.

Blesta is by far the easiest to develop for and it's extraordinarily well coded and well documented. The staff and dev team are much more responsive to questions and receptive to ideas/suggestions than any other competitor out there. Add that to the security of the product and I think you've got a winner.

  6. I see here that you're saying the entire coupon system needs a refactoring: http://dev.blesta.com/browse/CORE-171

For hosting providers who provide things like licenses, the coupon system is essentially unusable unless you exclude licenses from an order form. Since allowing coupons is based upon order forms and not groups or product, if you were to offer a 25% off coupon - it would discount the license as well.

The only way around this (unfortunately) is to ask the user to submit a ticket to apply the coupon price or alternatively like I said, remove items like licenses, extra IP addresses, etc from the order form which is also less than ideal.

  7. Same issue as this: http://www.blesta.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1899-solusvm-module-kvm/

(Not sure why that was marked as resolved as that is not a resolution?)

The root password that Blesta provides for KVM type virtual machines is incorrect.

    Steps to produce:

Provision a KVM virtual machine with the module. :P

I've tested many virtual machines, there are no special characters in the password that Blesta is trying to use (as per SolusVM being weird with that type of thing).

In addition to the above, when the client is logged in - it gives them an option to specify a password to reset with. When you try to set the password the message shows it as successful but the process actually fails. In addition to the process failing the password the user attempted to use is displayed in the log in plain text. This is especially concerning to me as the #1 selling point with Blesta to me was it's security and integrity.

Separate issue, but still relevant. SolusVM allows administrators to upgrade/downgrade users virtual machines. KVM with SolusVM does support upgrading, however when it comes to disk space if there's a decrease in the side of the HDD space provided you cannot downgrade KVM virtual machines. You should probably disallow KVM plans to be downgraded.

  8. It could be your not receiving it in the right inbox?

What do you mean? Like I'm not checking the right email address?

That isn't the issue. As I mentioned - it is not even sending the invoice. It has nothing to do with the receiving end of things. It is not even attempting to send the invoice.

  9. Everything else is emailing just fine, support tickets, replies, etc all works fine. I am using Mandrill to do all my email transactions but just to test I switched it to PHP mail quickly, tried resending the invoice and no go.

Very odd issue - the logs in tools says it was sent, but I see no evidence of it even attempting to be sent.

(I am using 3.2 beta, so not sure if it's related to that though this is a pretty significant issue an I imagine someone would have picked up on it by now).

This is a multi-company installation, not sure if that affects it or not.

  10. Appreciate the reply. To clarify is there a way to naturally step someone from domain into the product?

Or do they have to add the domain to the cart - go back to the list of products and purchase it that way?

  11. Now that I've spent some time in Blesta (currently using WHMCS and starting something new - want to use Blesta) I have a few questions:

    • Am I able to offer users domain names when they're ordering hosting? Ie - someone buys hosting and they add a domain on for $15 per year. Kind of how WHMCS does it. From what I can tell you have to order the domain separate from the hosting.
    • To build on to that question - are there any way to set promo points - like you are able to include a domain name if they select 1 year hosting?
    • Can you link to a specific product? My current website design basically requires that I am able to link specifically to a product. From what I can tell you can only select an order form. Would I have to create a specific group then order form for each product? That seems less than ideal.

    Thanks much for any responses.

  12. The ability to change which client template to use has been added for v3.2 in CORE-961.

You'll always want to keep backups of core template files you modify, and merge them into new releases accordingly. Even if you were using custom templates, you would still need to check them on new releases since data, structure, and language definitions can be added, changed, or removed that has the potential to break things in your templates. The beta releases would be a good time to update your custom templates with these kinds of changes.

My site actually isn't live yet and I'd hate to push it live just to have to make a slew of changes come 3.2 - any ETA on when we can expect 3.2? (I apologize if this is mentioned elsewhere).

    Thanks.

  13. Hey Guys,

I've recently picked up Blesta for a new project that we're starting up here. I've had lots of experience with WHMCS in the past, but opted to go for Blesta as it's largely considered the most secure billing panel on the market.

My primary concern, though, is it doesn't seem like you can specify templates to use besides the default. (Specifically the client facing section for orders and etc). I know you can go in and edit the pdt files and change the CSS (which I have done, fairly heavily). My concern is when an update comes out (obviously I'll back those up) I may end up missing features or possibly break certain pages that I may not have modified?

Anyone able to shed light on this?

    Thanks.
