I'm no web designer, more a server kinda guy but I managed to do a basic header/footer blesta integration for my own site. It all works seamlessly and customers never know they're leaving the main site.
I did have a bit of trouble getting it done but got their eventually, @Licensecart up above does basic header/footer integrations for $20, I'll probably use the service next time I need it done to save me the hassle!

Second one, 100%.

I've used both WHMCS and Blesta extensively but am a big open source advocate. I run Linux servers, use Linux desktops and also wanted an open source billing system. I think Blesta works and looks great and will only get better.
The simple way to think about it - WHMCS is twice the price, but is it twice as good? I would say no - therefore the most economical and financially sensible decision would be to go with Blesta. The biggest thing for me is the community here, it's a fantastic area where anyone and everyone can contribute, where users can actively influence developers decisions. Your ideas are helping mould the softwares future and lay foundations for new features. How can you not be excited by that? How can you not appreciate that? Most companies just don't bother!
I only sell hosting and it's all I'll ever sell, domain management is not important to me in the slightest. Why? Because, no matter what I do I'll never be able to match the prices of the big boys, so why bother when I can focus 100% on my web hosting platform? I sell hosting because I believe I can do it better, there's already lots of amazing registrars out there and if it can save my customers a few quid then I'm happy for them. As long as they continue to host with me then all is good and business goes on.
Just my 2 cents, sorry for the long ramblings

What problems were you having? I haven't noticed anything major but I can't say I've tested out every single feature in full.
Sorry for the delayed reply, see my posts earlier on in the topic for issues I had

Nice one, I'll need to have a think about it before purchasing but quite like the idea of using blesta as my main site.

Really liking the look of this and am interested in it. Did you get round to releasing V1.2.0 @Licensecart?

@Mineharvest66 if you PM me the link to your website I will give it a try

Sorry for the late reply guys, I've decided to just stick with the existing 'inbuilt' Blesta CPanel module. Perhaps I'll revisit this option in this future, hope you manage to get things sorted!

I can connect to the server as I mentioned BUT I cannot access any of my packages but the first one in my WHM list..
I was able to access my packages no problem, just the problem as screen grabbed above
-
@Mineharvest66, any luck with this yet?
-
Seems to be working for me - in terms of functionality but icons don't seem to be working, and the Softaculous function doesn't work either.
See my screenshot for the problem with the icons

I am confused because I still see the latest on the Market Place as 4.2.1 (https://marketplace.blesta.com/#/extensions/10-cPanel%20Extended)
I don't think he's given it a new version number just a fix. You can see on GitHub the last code commit was 14 hours ago.
-
I should be able to test this in the next sort of 8 hours. Really looking toward to it as I hate the CPanel 54 update as do a few of my customers so having this would mean they don't have to use the CPanel interface.
-
@MineHarvest66 and @austenite I uploaded the update that is available for download from GitHub or Blesta Marketplace.
I'm Unable to replicate the error, I tried with 2 different reseller accounts. I made some changes that I guess that are causing this problems.
Thanks for the update and quick turnaround, awesome! I'm out at the moment and won't be back in front of my computer until later. I'll give this a try as soon as I'm home and report back.
-
I'm created a reseller account for test and replicate the error, I will make an urgent update.
I will post here with the progress of the update.
That's great, thanks a million. Will patiently await the update

Sorry for the inconveniences.
Although we are a sub company of CyanDark, We don't offer 24/7 Support.
@austentine We never drop the support, We are a sub company of CyanDark, That one of the primary business is the Web Development, ModuleMatic have the same Staff of CyanDark and CyanDark have more than 3 years in the market. We only are using another name for our Blesta Products.
@licensecart I guess that this forum is your home. haha Thanks for your help.
@MineHarvest66 and @austentine Please send me the Logs of the cPanel Extended.
Thanks for the reassurance.
At the moment CPanel extended isn't generating any logs on my system. @MineHarvest66 also said he was experiencing the same problem.
-
Indeed but let's not overreact that support is "nonexistence" since even though this is a core issue of it. It haven't been 24 hours since the issue appeared on this thread. Now if some time passes and NOTHING happens then sure their loss leading marketing isn't great.
Agreed, we need to allow them time to reply. From earlier replies it seems they're quick to fix any issues. I'm just also glad someone else is having the same problem!
Remember it's a weekend and not everyone works on a weekend . I live on this forum.
Good point, hadn't even thought of that. Just a waiting game now

If the default works then it's not that issue I mentioned as the default one should work like the extended, but you can't swap from blesta's to this you have to use new packages.
I had assumed I would need to switch packages, which isn't a problem (I'm purely in testing phase at the moment). Of course I won't be doing any of that until I can get the server added. My only worry about using an unofficial plugin is support being dropped, in which case I'd have to roll back to the default CPanel plugin.
In any case, I look forward to testing once this issue is resolved.
Also @Licensecart your site was a great resource when I shifted over to Blesta, lots of useful content.
-
The only reason I can think it wouldn't work is because the reseller package wasn't given rights to the API, but I don't use cpanel to get the correct locations you'd have to ask your hosts.
Thanks for the response, I've been using the included CPanel plugin in Blesta for quite some time now with no problems and am continuing to do so until this is fixed so am assuming this can't be the case.
-
Also having the same problem as above - receiving error 'The connection data you provided is invalid'.
Nothing in the logs about the module even trying to connect to the CPanel server, I'm also on a reseller account. Double and triple checked the credentials to no avail.

As promised previously, today I've tried the plugin again and it still does't work.
When clicking links such as 'Dashboard' and 'Softaculous' I just get PHP errors and when using the 'switch' links for CPanel and webmail the module directs you to 'https://localhost:2083'rather than your designated server hostname.
It just doesn't work, hoping the developer sorts out these issues as I'd really love to use this plugin.
