Error validation was only happening immediately before provisioning the service. We've updated the Universal module to do this validation when the form is initially submitted as well.

    CORE-765 fixed for 3.0.3.

Yeah, Blesta license sales are popping up in several of the forums I read. It seems a lot of people don't want to wait for it to mature.

If Blesta wasn't multi-company I might consider snatching up a few of these myself, but I have no real need.

Is there a customer viewable "road map" so we can see where items such as the Enom and the Quantum Vault Gateway are on the timeline.

    Fair enough.

Don't get me started! I'd be more likely to extend Blesta into an accounting system than integrate it with QuickBooks.

For those of you who may be seeking a temporary work-around:
    In the file
    /plugins/order/views/templates/standard/main_configure.pdt On line 171 change
    <div class="heading options">to<div class="heading options" style="display:none;"> and on line 174 change
<section class="pad content">to<section class="pad content" style="display:none;"> This will hide the portion of the checkout process in question from being displayed in the browser. It's not true solution but it works if you just want to temporarily hide the "Available Add-Ons" section from the configuration page of checkout.

If your post is gone, it's because I moved the marketplace discussion to http://www.blesta.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1046-the-markeplace-discussion-split/. Please take any discussion on the markeplace there and let's keep this thread focused on the knowledge base.

I agree.  I get enough people calling me to order on the phone let alone figuring that out online.  It needs to be as easy and intuitive as possible.

Hopefully they'll see this. It's seems overly cumbersome to have to make multiple orders for an add-on item.

That's what I was afraid of. Many of the clients I cater to don't know that much and wouldn't know to order a domain first. It should be a conditional question in the hosting order form.

I'm hoping they'll add this functionality soon. I've already abandoned WHMCS, didn't think about this until now. And now it's a problem.

This is something that we would either simply implement, which would be similar to v2.5, or we would add a list of "on action" items that are configurable. I'm leaning toward the latter.

Thanks for the suggestion, CORE-763 has been added for forcing staff to use two-factor authentication.

Batch processing is a common technique when building scalable systems. It allows the system to scale with the needs instead of having a static overhead / demand ratio. In the case of provisioning it may have been fine to run the task when a service is paid for; I'm not quite sure why they used a cron for that. Maybe the developers can shed some light on that. But, in the case of downloading ticket emails it is clear why they used a cron, because there is no other trigger to tie the event to. For me it's less about whether these should be cron jobs at all and more about making sure the individual cron tasks are flexible enough to be run more frequently than 5 minutes.

You can resend the welcome email from the admin panel by going to Clients -> Choose the Client -> Show All Actions (Left sidebar) -> View Mail Log -> Find and click the Welcome Mail -> Click "Resend"

I would also like to see all of the featured the OP requested on the client end implemented.

Thanks for that alex.  There should also be a way for clients to do it themselves

Thats why I am verifying is its this {name_server}.  I am assuming its that

or do I put {% for name_server in module.name_servers %} Name server: {name_server} {% endfor %} like you said in your above post above

I would definitely like to see forcing two-factor auth for staff as an option. I also look forward to making it an option for clients. I'd like it if clients were presented with the same forced two-factor screen during sign up but it had some explanation and an opt-out "Skip" link in case they don't want to do it. (But they should be able to configure it later if they like.) Maybe an option like "Present two-factor auth during client sign-up" could handle this.

It's not supported but there appears to be a transport for it for Swiftmailer, which we use. Cody doesn't think it would be terribly difficult to add. How widely used is CRAM-MD5? I honestly have never heard of it.
