xison got a reaction from eversmile_host in Logicbox & Reseller Club Error
Be sure the IP Address in your whitelist is your servers outgoing IP address.
For example, if you are on a VPS with 5 IP addresses, use the Primary IP address.

xison got a reaction from Ken in Do We Have A Mass Mail Option ?
I personally am just fine downloading a CSV and putting it through VerticalResponse. :-)
I can definitely see the value in sending directly through Blesta, but there is a point where you can run into walls, like your upstream provider thinking you are spamming.
I personally really like VerticalResponse because you can buy X number of credits and you have a whole year to use them.

Precisely. And I'm good with just that. :-)

xison got a reaction from Michael in Using 2 Domain Reseller Modules
Yes this is possible.
The way it works is based on the TLD. So you can have a different module for .com, .net, and .org. Then a different module for .eu, .co.uk, .de, etc. And yet another module for .asia, .jp, etc.
It is designed this way so you can "game the system" per-se to get the best prices for your customers.

xison got a reaction from Michael in Need Offline Credit Card Gateway
The problem falls with PCI-DSS Compliance rules & regs.
While I know you do not need the CVC (Card Verification Code) for this type of payment, it is still always best not to store card information locally. Even with public/private key encryption, it still is a risk that should be considered.
I know the Blesta team is very cautious when it comes to security, but I still think they may not want to develop it.

xison reacted to Paul in Blesta Is A Registered Trademark?
Blesta is in the process of becoming a registered trademark with the US patent office. I saw the post you are referencing, a domain with the name blestareseller in it. In order to become a Blesta reseller, we have to create a reseller account for you and we have not so far allowed anyone to be a reseller through a domain name with Blesta in it. It's unlikely we will do so.

I'd like to chime in and point out that the development license is only available for OWNED licenses direct from Blesta. Not monthly licenses.

xison got a reaction from HarrisonLILY in Using Blesta For Things Other Than Domain/ssl Etc
I'm surprised no one had mentioned the Universal Module yet. After you figure out how it works, its very powerful.
Personally about to launch a companion brand to my web development business that is mostly hosting related:
- Domain Names - LogicBoxes Module
- Virtual Servers - SolusVM Module
- Dedicated Servers - Universal Module
I've also set up a bunch of addon services utilizing the Universal Module, such as Server Management, additional IP addresses, Commercial Hosting Control Panels (cPanel, etc.)

I am using in testing right now. Just upgraded solusVM today too so plan to do some final testing before I launch my web hosting brand (sister company to web design/development firm).

xison reacted to Michael in Licensecart - Responsive Blesta [In Development]
Please note this is in development and may take a while to be released.
We've heard some of you guys wanted a responsive Blesta theme, so that's what I've got in development, I've started working on this so you have another theme to choose from, and this again will be free and we will support this thoughout.
That means if Blesta releases a new version, we will see if any templates are changed, if they are we will update it and release it for you guys to update your Blesta installation. I've added a few previews of what I've managed to do now they are below.
I will be working on this and other themes while I await for customer work so I can continue improve my skills. And as it's work in process it could change and improve etc.

Would you be so kind to share with us what kind of exploits? The technical people around here enjoy this kind of stuff. Perhaps not exactly what or where (or which competitor) but at least the type of exploit? SQL injections, privilege escalation, simply flawed beyond repair?

xison got a reaction from Michael in Move Licensed Site To Other Url?
You can reissue the license in your Blesta account (https://account.blesta.com/client/login/).

If you have photoshop, you can save the images for the web, which optimizes them, decreases their quality (hardly noticable, if at all), and lowers the file size. Some of your images are very large, but are set to be resized by the browser when displayed. Those images load slower than necessary because the browser still must download the full-size image, so you should manually resize the image to the exact dimensions you plan to display them in first. Or if you're going for a more responsive feel, resize them to the largest they need to be so they can be resized down dynamically.

Congrats Paul. Thanks for the reminder I need a vasectomy. I'm done at two. haha

xison got a reaction from Scott Horsley in Phar?
I like the idea of the Phar. Last time I really lookes at them they seemed kind of half baked and wasn't too sure about them. This was when 5.2 was in beta, though.
Namespaces, on the other hand, are freaking awesome! I don't know how I lived without them for so long.

xison got a reaction from Bit Bayou in Domain Name: Budgethosts.net
I'd take it, but I'd probably sit on it another year or two and half build a site for it, but never launch it. Just have too much going on. Wife, kids, work, occasional sleep. Y'know?

I signed up for the alerts on name.com, and then I tried to log in last week and it didn't recognize my account at all -- as if they just deleted it.
