The Upload Path Could Not Be Created

Debunker13

Question

I seem to have run into an issue where I find myself unable to customise my invoices via uploading custom logos from the invoice customisation screen.  The folder and folder permissions are all correct, and Blesta created the folder when I uploaded the first logo.  Worked fine the first time, logged out then back in and now can't upload anything.  This is the second time this has happened today.  The only way I got around it was to reinstall Blesta from scratch.

Anyone else having this issue and/ or found a fix?

I must have missed this step, I remember it in 2.5 though.  Where do you define the uploads folder location?  Also was there any others aside Uploads that were suppose to go outside of the directory?

Just uploads (and tmp).

You can find it at admin/settings/system/general/basic/

And it has to be the full directory link eg: /home/username/uploads/ has to have a trailing forward slash on the end.

For some reason I thought it was in a config file.  Thanks!

What is the rotation policy settings for specifically?

I could be wrong but I think it cleans the upload / tmp every so often, so if I had 30 days it would clear the tmp folder and if any attachments for tickets wasn't used it would remove them too. Need Paul, Tyson or Cody to tell us about that haha.

The rotation policy is for logs stored in the database, and viewable under Tools > Logs. These logs can get quite large, so they need to be rotated.

Any files written to /tmp (or the location you set) should be removed right away. Nothing is ever deleted from the uploads directory unless specifically done by the plugin who put it there.
