turner2f
We are using PayPal Payments Standard for BOTH our hosting and single-payment invoices in Blesta. 0 Michael
Why are you complaining to Blesta haha it's a PayPal issue and there should be a "Not a PayPal user" section where they click a link and fill in a card but if it's on a PayPal account already it will ask you to log in. activa
0 turner2f
No.... Not exactly. And it is not a complaint. It is an inquiry. ================= WordPress has many plugins that allow customers to make a single payment to PayPal whether they are PayPal customers or not. So we are inquiring whether the Blesta plugin for " PayPal Payments Standard" is set up differently than other plugins we have used.

0 turner2f
@activa Yes. It appears to be a PayPal situation. When I called they said that they have RANDOMLY put several other people's accounts on some sort of "Fraud Risk List". Been with them for 10 years without any problem or complaint on record. So I will be calling back today to find out why we were RANDOMLY put on it and to get us off of it. activa
0 turner2f
UPDATE: PayPal said that they are actively working to fix a "system-wide bug" that has affected several other PayPal accounts across their network where the "Guest Checkout" has been DE-activated for several accounts. Once they RE-activate the "Guest Checkout" feature, we ( and everybody else ) will be able to receive "single payments" again without the client having to be a PayPal member. =========== Not certain what is going on over at PayPal, but this is the 2nd major "bug" they have had in just 3 weeks. The 1st bug they had in November affected people's ability to collect Recurring payments.
0 turner2f
2ND UPDATE : PayPal fixed the network bug for the "Guest Checkout ". But think we'll be transitioning to Authorize.net This is the 2nd major "bug" that PayPal has had in just 3 weeks.
