Michael
Doug suggested it here: Change the subject to include the product name: Your new {package.name} service has been activated. I had a new order and it went threw very nicely sadly failed my own internal testing so I had to wait a bit to see if it worked and it does. So this would give a little bit more personal touch to emails. Rocketz and evolvewh

Paul
Are you just suggesting we update the email template subject language to: Your new {package.name} service has been activated. ? You're able to update the subject manually now to get this to work right? Why do you think we should make this the default subject? When I originally suggested this, I was thinking more along the lines of a subject field under each package (directly above the welcome email input area). I didn't think about adding {package.name} to the activation email but if it's working, that's a workable solution for me.
Michael
Yes mate, and not sure why but Doug recommended it and I suppose people know what the email is about
Rocketz
How can we do this in 3.6? I just tried to look quickly and don't see how the subject of a service created email can be changed depending on the package ordered. That's why I'm +1'ing this

That's why I'm +1'ing this Settings > Company > Emails > Service Creation Then in the subject put this: Your new {package.name} license has been activated! and change that to your needs like so: Emails will look something like this:
