EidolonHost got a reaction from Adam in Is Blesta An Option For Dedicated?
There was a Dedicated Server module for WHMCS... I think I even have a copy of that script, but it's an extremely old copy.

Hmm... maybe I should convert it to Blesta?

I'll look into it and see if there's anything that can be done. Honestly, the closest thing that comes to managing dedicated servers would be NOC-PS's NOC-PS module, but that's mainly for OS reloads and stuff.

Ironically, I have a project right now with ModulesBakery that's currently on hold for developing such a module. It ties into Ubersmith... well, the providers that utilize Ubersmith such as QuadraNet have enabled Ubersmith's APIs.

If you'd like to have access to such a module that makes use of the Ubersmith API for dedicated servers... I'd be happy to get it open-sourced instead of copyrighted and locked to our company only.

Edit: Looks like the module for dedicated servers was abandoned. And a new version of the module has been released for WHMCS.

I'll take a look-see at it and see if I can help with getting it converted over.

Instead of logging in as a client, you can just add a contact for the client in the admin interface.

This is already possible via the Contacts page in the client dashboard. The client simply adds a secondary contact and designates them as a billing contact. You can do the same thing as a support contact, so the options you're asking about is already there.

So, it turns out the suggestion you made was already in place... I didn't notice this was why it kept breaking until I read the code more closely and went, "Wait a minute, I didn't put that there, Michael did!"

So it's pretty much done now. I actually modified the way you had ours set up so that it just showed the dashboard and nothing else, if logged in... but I felt like that was a bit too much white. So I put it back to the way you had it set up and it's much better.

Looks like we're set... except maybe for the dropdown menus up top where they should be working... but I don't know if that'd work or not...

    Edit: Here's some eye-candy!

Also, Markdown support. That would be just... beautiful to have.

Oh bugger sorry misread :L late nights again don't do well with me haha. Most people like me like confirmation pages so you can see what you are ordering fully and scan over it, find out how much tax / vat your paying and other stuff and the total.
Same with shopping online they do it for https://groceries.morrisons.com/ and they try and flog more and then you get the full trolley then the payment, and you also get a email to confirm everything. It's just standard.

Put !important; on them and also put the css file below the blesta files so it loads up last and overwrites Blesta's or you can simply just edit the client theme colours on Settings > Look and Feel > Client > Non default > Header colours.

    There's always ModulesBakery.

They charge reasonable development prices. I'm sure they'd be happy to develop an eNom module for you if you ask them to.

Or better yet, why not crowd-source the cost of the module development with ModulesBakery?

Oooh. You mean the other portions of your tutorial.

Gotcha. I will be messing with this, yes. I plan on doing that when I head back home for the night and work on the dev server hosted there.

Writing credentials to the database doesn't mean the credentials worked.  Would be nice to have a test script that sends and confirms SMTP authentication.

The read notification is annoying. I never, ever, ever send read receipts.

Some mail servers like Mandrill can make use of message tagging and track opens, which are useful for statistical purposes for various types of emails. It would be interesting to be able to add special headers to outgoing email to enable some of these features on a per-template basis.

It's the javascript then try moving the JS for Blesta and your integration around.

That's already in my structure.pdt. This was the guide you pointed me to and it handily helped me resolve the other issues I mentioned here.

Oh... a refresh showed that this was already taken care of and that I hadn't refreshed after I uploaded a fresh copy. Hurpadurp... I shoulda CTRL+F5'd.

Still working on integrating the other stuff I need integrated. I think that's basically it.

Also, I just noticed there isn't a register/log-in button/area in the order form. How does one include this in the order form?

If you only want to change the structure, then you should keep the current CSS/script files because they will continue to be used on other pages. If you're making a completely new client template theme by redesigning the entire interface, then you can include whatever you want. You should note that extensions assume the client interface uses the default bootstrap theme, so those extensions would need to be updated as well when redoing all of the template files.

Bah. I looked at different results on Google and it wasn't entirely always clear what you should do... but include "Blesta" as a modified search result, boom, you get succinct answers.

You might receive a 500 internal server error if you have a fatal error or syntax error in the code that is unparseable. If it only affects modules, then my guess is one of the modules is causing it. You can remove all of the module directories from /components/models/ and see if the problem goes away. Then add them one-by-one until you discover the module that is causing the problem.

I'm curious to see how the new logo looks, couple suggestions on other parts of the site:

    1. I would use the colored Blesta logo at the bottom instead. You can grab it from here - http://www.blesta.com/resources/
    2. The vertical lines dividing the sections of your footer extend part way into the lighter gray section at the very bottom. Looks a bit odd, I would expect it to end within the darker section.

    Other than that, looking good!

EidolonHost got a reaction from Michael in Opinions Of Licensepal And Enom Users And Other Questions
You should be able to get a developmental license from Blesta directly... but you'd need to talk to Paul about it, as LicenseCart is correct in that Paul issues dev licenses at his discretion.

We have an Owned Unbranded license with LicenseCart and I was able to get a development license directly with Blesta when I asked if I could have one. I haven't set the dev install of Blesta up yet as I've been researching and planning how to implement the module we intend to develop. We suspect it'll be a fairly large module as it requires quite a bit of work to make it happen.

And... yeah, LicenseCart is crazy-fast in responding through various mediums. In fact, more often than not, when I'm posting somewhere, he usually shows up almost directly after I've posted.

Just a little bit scary... but in a good way! If you want flexibility with selling licenses and the like to your own customers... LicenseCart is the way to go.

I'd go with LC over BuycPanel any day, that's a fact.
