so to not lose time, the quote status will have 'open','accepted','dead','closed' .
'open', for new quotes
'accepted', when client accept the quote
'dead', when the quote is expired
'closed' when the quote is rejected or closed by admins .
i don't know if better to add a new status for rejected and Delivered status .
what i prefer if to ad new status for rejected , and add new row for Delivered , but this will be in the >TODO list 2 when i add the option to send the quote via email .

i will start in coding Quotes System plugin for the community , and i need some ideas feedbacks .

1 - Why Quotes System ?

Quotes is something related to the productivite and add a plus for the admins , also all the big companies use it , also some companies that offer services (design, coding, mobile APP.... ) with hourly rate (like me) , and need every time send a qoute to the clients then the client accept we creat a invoice for them . i want to make this step as easy as possible .

2 - How much cost this new plugin ?

Is totally Free , but if you consider it worth , you can donate for it .

3 - Where expected to be released ?

first we need to make a simple Quotes system that do the trick , then we will extend it to do more functionality and task and maybe automated task , so the simple thing we begin with it the near future date is released .

4 - what i have a TODO list ?

i have 2 TODO list , one if for the first release , and second is for next released versions .

i will group ideas based in the easy implementation and the basic feature.

TODO list 1 :

- Admins can add/edit/delete Quotes .(i'm not sure if i use close instead of delete)
- Create Quote for the client .
- Client can view Quote from the client panel .
- Cleint can accept or reject the Quote .
- Admins convert accepted Quote to invoice   not needed , as the system convert it auto .
- client can view the quotes assigned to them (accepted or closed or rejected or expired)

TODO list 2 :

- cronjob to convert a accepted quote to invoice .
- Clients can receive the quote via email as PDF , they can also download it as PDF. (implemented)
- Comments both for client and staff under the qoute (threaded reply/conversation).
- Devide Quote in two invoice after accept (for prepayment ,and after final work)
- Create Quote for non clients , they can view it with a unique url .
- Store Client info in the quotes for history .

That is all .

any one has an idea to implement it , i will add it to my one of TODO list .

i lot of request in the forums for the full multilanguages integration in blesta . today i want to talk aboutthe URLs in blesta for multilanguages purpose use .
it would be a perfect strategy if blesta can handle the multilanguages urls also , like
domain.com/blesta/fr/client/login/ & domain.com/blesta/en/client/login/ ect ...
domain.com/blesta/fr/order/main/index/blesta/ & domain.com/blesta/en/order/main/index/blesta/ ect ...
domain.com/blesta/fr/client/plugin/support_manager/client_tickets/departments/ & domain.com/blesta/en/client/plugin/support_manager/client_tickets/departments/ ect ...
when using a direct url "domain.com/blesta/client/login/" , use the default language .
this behavior is for non-loggedin users .
this is the best practice for SEO and multitargeting client geography .
we can achieve the url usage with htaccess , but it has some limitation and also blesta can't generate urls with that format at the moments .
this post is just to let blesta staff make in consideration with they will attack the multilanguages features .

Yesterday im decided to upgrade Blesta to the latest version (3.4.4) and cPanel of my server from 11.49 to 11.50, After the upgrade, the cPanel Extended module stop working, Showing always "Internal Error". And don't show more the Disk and Bandwidth Statistics.
 
The original cPanel Module from Blesta have the option to change the password, and cPanel Extended don't have.
 
This Fixed version have the option to change the Password of cPanel from Blesta and its fixed and works again this fantastic module.

Its better for Blesta add new pages to blesta.com website and/or in blesta docs website to each registrar and with each logo, for exemple:

Unfortunately blesta still dont target the "big money" (domains) and its more focus on (services) than (hosting) or (dedicated/cloud)
 
Blesta can gain a big BOOM (and we as clients also gain more with this boom) if in the next release (3.6 I hope) focus only on (Domains)
 
naja7host and a.daniello is right blesta should change the system as it is, is very confusing for new custummers.
 
1- Client goes to the website and click on "Buy Hosting"
 
2- Client choose hosting and options for hosting and is redirected to choose one of the options:
 
a) Regist a new domain
b] Transfer a domain
c) Alredy have a domain
 
3- After choosing the right option, if a) or b] with will choose the domain options, and is redirected to the cart to login or creat an account.
 
 
if the client on the website clicks on regist or transfer a domain, then the way should be:
 
1- it checks the domain avaliability and shoes the options:
 
a)if available shows price and continue button,
b] if its not available shows an option to transfer and the transfer price of the domain and the continue button
 
2- after that shows the options for that domain and continue
 
3- now, if this is a must, show an warning that the domain dosent have any hosting package, and an option to choose a hosting option or continue without hosting package
 
a) if it choose to add a hosting package, show all available hosting packages for that group and the options for that hosting
b]  if choose to not add the hosting, then is redirected to the cart to finish
 
there are many ways to do this, but this exemple and the naja7host are some of the good ways

normally every group of product should be in thier own order  form .

Yes , is hard . every market has it own concept of use , and it own tructure of use .
 
we don't need the client ot be losed in the order form if they click other product . also what is the meaning of other product ? normally is hosting industry , domain + hosting , or just domain or just hosting , any other product related should  be addons (privacy , ssl, dedictated ip , ...ect ) . i will not tell you see how competitors done this , but test any hosting provider that use it own system to see how it should work , like OVH , HOSTDIME , HOSTPAPA ....ect

with a simple search in this forum i found a lot of thread talking about the same subject , selling domains + hosting with blesta has some obstacle .
 
really blesta shoud take care of this subject , the main market for billing sotware is the hosting industries . blesta is perfect now for selling other products .

I would like to see a way to select the hosting plans before selecting the domain to make it idiot proof like another system I used to use.

Sounds like you've duplicated the domain packages.

Is there a way to define the end date of the service terms to be the last day of the service term, rather than the first day of the next term?  Some of our clients find it confusing that invoices show terms of, for example, Jan. 1 - Feb. 1 and Feb. 1 - Mar. 1., rather than Jan. 1 - Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 - Feb. 28.  The way that it is now seems to imply that the first day of every month is actually part of 2 terms.  This is not a major problem, but does cause some confusion and it would be nice to be able to change it to the format I noted, which is more customary to our clients.

I couldn't find a CORE- number for this feature and I can't find a thread regarding it either, so I've opened one. I would like to see the ability to provide a free domain (certain tlds) on a yearly basis. Does anyone agree with me that this is a needed feature?

We are switching from SVN to Git soon, though it's unlikely at least for now, that there will be public access. We have a build process, and part of that process is to pull in externals. All extensions have their own version numbers and belong to their own repositories. So, even if we did allow public access, there's more you'd need to do in order to have everything that's in a build. We'll be announcing more details about this and more as we get closer to a 4.0 release.

i used check for language in session (and not in configure) on liveChatClientInclude(), very useful for multi-language frontend/client portal (eg, user that change frontend language maybe using Admin Tools by naja7host, or clients that have different languages in client portal).

We did several tests and all works fine.
 
Sorry for bad submission, but we were confused by a fact: in Tools > Log > "Invoice delivery" we didn't see the invoice delivery as aspected because when a proforma begin invoice, "Invoice delivery" doesn't add a new record on top, but change only the invoice number of the proforma with the number of invoice (this is ok) but show date and time of proforma delivery and not of invoice (this isn't ok). [we have also verified that in "invoice_delivery" db table you store two records, one for proforma and one for invoice, but in "Invoice delivery" reports you show only one record with "date_sent" older).

I can confirm, that is working OK, wen I manual create an Pro-Forma invoice, and after the cron run (sent the pro-forma by email), I have submited Manual Payment in "Record Payment for invoice", then pay in full, I didnt check the option "Email Receip", then click on Continue, and in Closed invoices, the final invoice show emidiatly the status "sent" without time for the cron to run, but after 5 minuts (my cron runs) and I have recived the "Copy" email with the final invoice.
