Daniel B reacted to Rodrigo in Fully Custom Blesta Order Page
Hi,
Finally I've managed to make the custom order page design by applying a hack to order form controller that let me to assign an specific blesta template for this order page without changing the template of any other page.
Maybe this would apply for a feature request, because with the current system we can't do a full order page customization

Daniel B reacted to gutterboy in How Do I Change The Install Path?
Reading the ticket again it may be because I have a LOCAL install and a TEST server install; basically it will clear any custom set locations.

Well, Southern California is almost Mexico, so it's not far off.

I did a quick search through the thread and didn't see anything, so if it's already been asked sorry about that.
I have a feature request: custom status
I would love to be able to add my own ticket status's. I have my contact email setup as a department, and would like to be able to mark certain emails as "information", etc. Would mark them as closed but be easy to find them later.
Or maybe even a tag/label system instead?

Daniel B got a reaction from Paul in Manually Processing Orders
When you are creating the order form, you need to select the box that says "Require Manual Review and Approval of All Orders"

Daniel B reacted to Nowaker in Looking For Beta Testers Of Virtkick, A Free And Open Source Alternative To Solusvm
Thanks for your interest guys.
It will be directly on the www.virtkick.io when I write the first blog post. We were focusing on prototyping and coding in the first place. Blog posts will follow when we have something real to show (namely: the beta).
Hosted beta - the end of September
User-installable beta - mid October
Launch - January
Please note that VirtKick will be usable for regular owners of dedicated servers - billing module is optional. Without a billing module it's a nice looking, user focused cloud admin panel (compared to admin focused Proxmox or OpenStack). The beta won't have the billing module anyway - we aim to gather feedback from the user point of view.
Thanks.

Daniel B reacted to gutterboy in Email Template From Addresses
It is, but I've already been through all the settings and don't wanna do it again.
Looked at the database and this seems like it would do the trick:
UPDATE `emails` SET `from`='myemail@mydomain.com' WHERE `from`='myemail@www.mydomain.com' Just not sure if anything else would need to be updated as well?

Daniel B got a reaction from wfitg in Looking For Beta Testers Of Virtkick, A Free And Open Source Alternative To Solusvm
I saw this over on WHT a few days ago and following the thread there, it is looking very nice.
I'm not planning on starting up my VPS operations for another few months, so I wouldn't really be much help in the Beta unless it lasts longer than that though, any idea on the timeline you are looking at for Beta/Launch?

Daniel B reacted to Tyson in [Cancel At End Of Term] Dosent Work Wen Client Order
Step 4 is only necessary if the client didn't pay through the order form, and instead sent you a manual payment. The only steps you really need to be aware of as an admin is #2, 3, and 5. That process is necessary when you require manual review of all orders.
I think it makes sense that if you "require manual review of all orders" that you manually review the order before you activate the service. This has been brought up before, but it seems as though you're getting ahead of yourself, or forgetting that the orders require manual review. In any case, CORE-1370 will be added to deny service activation before manual review, and to remind you of that fact. That will, at least, resolve the current issues that arise from activating a service with the module before manual review, where modules return errors and fail to add the service.
#1 is planned in CORE-1229.
#3 will be resolved in CORE-1370 as mentioned above

Daniel B reacted to wfitg in Need To Remove Tax Id Number From Registration
Thanks for this! I was also able to remove "registering with a user name" thereby forcing the user name to be the email address.
To the OP: This modification also has to be done on the ordering templates. This workaround only applies to the registration form, not to when they are registering during the purchase. In my case I had to make this mod on 3 seperate template files.

Daniel B reacted to Michael in [Upgrade/downgrade] Cancel At End Of Term, Is Not Removed
To add to my post maybe a way to show a error message like when the client has a invoice to pay like this:
Days count down..

Daniel B reacted to Michael in [Upgrade/downgrade] Cancel At End Of Term, Is Not Removed
Maybe a suggestion to have the option to mark a package as "not able to downgrade" I'd +1 that.
Not able to downgrade as in once they upgrade they can only upgrade or stay on the current plan?

Daniel B reacted to Cody in [Maintainence Mode] Markdown
Order of operands does not matter for multiplication. Tyson's proof stands.
The two are equivalent:
(-)-1 = -1(-)
Proof:
By Associated law of multiplication
LHS: (-1) * -1 = 1
RHS: -1 * (-1) = 1
1 = 1
