Interesting, but not for the accounting reasons, just to show the correct price at checkout to customers... also because it's need to be done with GeoIP.
But about VAT MOSS you know that almost two part must match finally, as IP<->Phone number   Credit Card country <-> IP etc... so it's something more complex rather than simply transfer it to an accounting tool. We know tools like Quaderno, Octobat, Avalara do that match. Avalara & TaxJar already do this in US for example, and them can filing sales tax returns too.

Me too, as I'm coming from Linux since 1998 #184306  and supporting GNU too, so we preferred to change to Blesta and another OpenSource for main CMS (not WP ?

Yes that's true and depending on how you can realise that affiliate promotion .. I know about hosts that spend money to achieve referrals ?

Probably it depends on product and region. ? But we (and others ) tested on that traffic from FB is not totally correspondent to hosting products even FB suggested is it.
Something is not working ... and traffic / likes from people have anything _real_ interest in Hosting / IT is not an opinion. So about FB it's a true lottery ... that's all!
(ps. last week Germany disappeared from FB countries list in ADS manager ? How you can rely on something like that???

We will not stop releasing updates entirely while we finish up big features. We did that when we were rewriting Blesta for v3.0, and it was a mistake. We need to be consistent with releases, and there are tasks big and small. Filtering was pretty simple, and it's useful for the majority.
Everyone has this "one feature" that they need, and all other features are "useless" to them. That's the wrong way of looking at it. New features that you may not care for, someone else cares for greatly. We can consistently release updates with new features, while still working on the big ones.
 
Affiliate system excludes tax in the payout amount, it looks at the package price pre-tax. So if your payout rate is 10%, and the item costs $100 + $30 tax ($130 total), the payout would be $10, not $13.
You referenced quite a few potential new features, if you don't mind, please check that they are individually listed at https://requests.blesta.com with sufficient detail. When we plan new releases, we review the requests site.

Recently got an API key for VeriSign's Name Studio, and thought it'd be a decent opportunity to get my hands dirty with a Blesta integration. I've probably broken all kinds of rules and best-practices in implementing it, but not too far from a workable release.
Early WIP, but there are a few screenshots below.
Curious if anyone would find this useful.


EDIT: FWIW if y'all apply for a name studio account now I should have something out by the time they approve your account. It's free, though does have some generous rate-limiting in place (in which case the plugin will just not show any suggestions at this stage).
It's a janky process and took a few days - they called me a few days after applying and spelled the account's default password out character by character ?

And by the way I would advise you to rethink the way you are talking with the people who are actually PAYING for Blesta. After all, we are the one who are pushing Blesta and WE are the one who support this project!

Still waiting the native affiliate system which can be done in one day.

Not my.cyberhour.com where Blesta is installed though, at least it's not forced. If you put in https:// then it works. I'd suggest forcing HTTPS, easy to do in your Blesta .htaccess file if you're on Apache  @CyberHour

Now this is an professional reply ... There is no way to find out all lacks of Blesta during trial period .. not to say that is almost impossible to figure what is wrong with a system that you don't test in public.  Who can image that a premium billing system will lack such option ?

After all there are not any patches for the past 12 months not looks that they are in rush. If the Blesta project is one man party then fine.  And this is not request from today but before 2 years.

Bear with me, but there are more important lacks on blesta that mass spaming. 

we have already talked about this in a lot of threads , blesta should re-think about the hosting market , and adjust the software to be ready for hosting industry .
blesta is 100% adequate to selling softwares, licenses, maybe other things , but it need a huge improvement to be a hosting software solution .
@CyberHour , regarding your issue , you can live with your solution until the staff response to you , they can include a solution in the v4.1 or more , just it need a time and patience .
 

On the `currencies.php` model there is a method `toDecimal` which is labeled as the "precision" of a currency. As I understand it the intention is to turn a float similar to "12.622222" into "12.62". The functionality it actually provides is via the AppModel->truncateDecimal method which is a `minimum` precision as per the documentation. This leads to raw pricing data without truncated precision as per the currency's database configuration.
 
For example USD pricing will result in:
{ "id": "1", "pricing_id": "1", "package_id": "1", "term": "1", "period": "month", "price": "10.00", "setup_fee": "0.00", "cancel_fee": "0.00", "currency": "USD" } but pricing for GBP is
{ "id": "1", "pricing_id": "1", "package_id": "1", "term": "1", "period": "month", "price": "6.9834", "setup_fee": "0.00", "cancel_fee": "0.00", "currency": "GBP" } I believe the frontend or view layer of Blesta is obfuscating this minor problem from being apparent. It's a significant issue for identifying the accurate pricing when the Blesta API is being consumed directly.

I actually like the new backend design.  Personally we don't need mobile version of the backend since we are all using devices of 2015+ with 5inc+ display so we are fine with it. What we would like to see is affiliate system. The lack of affiliate system is big drawback ..
 
Anyway I wish we get affiliate system in v4.1 in the 2nd Q of 2016.
