I did that couple of time... and always having 4.2.0-b2 to 4.2.1

Try to reissue your license and reenter your key if requested. Should revalidate as long as your license is still valid.

Thank you BlestaStore and GosuHost for your offers of help but I think  I can see what's happened and feel kinda stupid for not realizing this sooner.  I believe that the error was related to the cron job which was using the old path to php  (/usr/local/bin/php) and that would have used PHP 5.6 since after the upgrade was set as the default PHP version. When I changed the path to be /usr/local/bin/ea-php71 it doesn't look like the error is repeating.

Trust me your not the only one. One time I forgot that every single directory was pointed at /home2 instead of /home ...  

I think you were typing when I posted  Quick question for you. Are you running 4.2? And if so, does it show the correct path to your PHP 7.1 binary under Settings > System > Automation? We made a change that should more intelligently display the right path to PHP.. curious how good of a job we did on that in your environment.

Aaaaaand.. it's gone! Crypto correction, markets down massively in the past couple days. On second hand, maybe it's an opportunity to buy more.

Good point there, I didn't actually thought of that given that he tried to upgrade the installation. 

Another possibility is if you have a owned license, the support and updates have expired.

That may seems odd but I can think of two reasonable things to confirm and look into...  
1. During the process your license could of literally expired. For example if you were doing the updates in between the late night and very early morning of Midnight. With that said you should confirm that your license is "still good" or if an outstanding invoice for it has to be paid off. 
2. Your IP could of changed for one reason or another. Verifies this and if it did run the re validation.  
Other than that then yes that is very bizarre then.

actually the problem was a 404 error popping in due to the improper url
@GosuHost who is like my younger brother and a good mate pointed out the mistake, the thing what i was trying to achieve was already done
i had about as <a href"about.html">
this which accessed from the clients dashboard turned out to be clients/about.html instead of /about.html
what a fool i was
what i need is good sound sleep, so that i do not make these silly mistakes and bother my community mates
if i would had written the complete url this would not had been the issue, like <a href"domain.tld/about.html">

Glad you enjoy, We will soon update this plugin to add a few options to better enhance  the users experience and also the administrators.
More General Setups without a lot of customization and additions wont experience any "colliding" but if you have 2-3 other items already added there may not be room and the dropdown is a great easy place to apply this.

I second that, just unzip, install, and go to town. Even worked on my "dummy" client that I made forever ago so it should also work for an already operating system without worries.   
As for sizing I personally not seeing any "colliding" of menu items even at the top.  
Get the job done and all it needs to do. Now my Blesta install more match the leading billing platform now that my clients will be able to query the emails that the system/I sent them.

Email History
Gosuhost is introducing the email history plugin for Blesta. This allows your customers to view past emails straight from their client area.
This gives your customers a much better experience rather than them checking their email client for past emails. They can click the row to view the email in text format.

You shouldn't install Blesta in the root of your domain, all resources are routed through index.php. The only exception is if you are using something like Blesta CMS that makes a CMS out of Blesta for that purpose. Otherwise, you should install Blesta in a sub-directory (ie domain.com/blesta/), or a subdomain. (ie blesta.domain.com). You can't have other HTML files mixed in with your Blesta install.

Incase anyone else has invoices to fix:
If you are having problems removing lines from effected invoices because of a transaction(credit) already applied you will need to click on the transaction and after it expands there will be an option to unapply the amount from that invoice. Then edit the invoice adjust it and reapply(cron should reapply the amount)

I can link you a support ticket yesterday from BuycPanel where they messed up my cpanel license for 3 days, I had paid it should have been active. They have messed up my solusvm once before also. Mistakes happen mate no matter what company. It's what support does to rectify the situation that's important, but to do so they need a chance and understanding of the problem and exactly what product is being refered to, evem buycpanel can't fix all issues within 20 minutes. Be patient young grass hopper I'm sure he didn't even know there was an issue until you messaged him and from there he has to do research as well to come up with the viable solution.
