John reacted to Paul in Iblesta Like Iwhmcs
We were planning to do an iOS app, but haven't yet because demand for other features is much higher. Anyone certainly could build an app though, Blesta's API is extremely robust.
If nobody has, and we get some of the more highly requested features done, we'll revisit and do an iOS and probably Android app.

John reacted to Paul in Do We Have A Mass Mail Option ?
One thing I'd like to see also, is a "test email" option where I can send a copy of the email to myself, perhaps randomly selecting a customer whos details will be used. This way, if I have a stupid error in the email I can correct it before sending it to everyone.

Paulov's suggestion of making it cron based would solve the issue of requiring the browser to be active while sending. Instead, the cron could send and log the message, and the browser would simply make ajax requests to Blesta to display that log dynamically. The downside is that you'd have to wait up to 5 minutes for the message to go out.
Great suggestions

It would also be nice if it ran better than some of the other ones out there that it doesn't need to keep your browser open/connection when sending. Had an issue yesterday sending mass mail and internet died 1/4 of the way sending the email out so a bunch of clients never got the email from us. I'd like to see that not happen here..
The ideas posted above are also great.

Hello,
The massmailler should have, (cron base), markting options such as:
Client our Product related
a ) If Client, should have the options:
- Number of Days since Registration
- Minimum and Maximum Number of Active Products/Services
b ) If Product, should have the options:
- Select multi Products/Services/Addons
- Select multi Products/Services/Addons Status (Active/Suspended/Cancelled)
- Select number of days to do an action like:
- Number of Days After Order Date
- Number of Days Before Next Due Date
- Select multi (Not Have) Products/Services/Addons
We use a lote this options (not in Blesta), and are very efficient

John got a reaction from Michael in Email Templates With Wrong Urls
I also tried to fix this on my install, but to no avail. Instead, I simply added this to the .htaccess file at the root of the domain:
Options +FollowSymlinks -MultiViews RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^client/(.*) https://example.com/BLESTA-SUBDIR/client/$1 [R=301,NC,L] Hope this helps.

John reacted to Michael in Total Paid Option.
Just an idea, not sure if it would be a good idea to have a option to show the client the "Total Paid" (The total paid by invoices).

John reacted to cloudrck in Paypal Refund
I haven't read the PayPal API docs, but from what Blesta made it seem, it should be possible to do refunds if you have API credentials.
-
John reacted to cloudrck in Paypal Refund
I don't think I've ever been able to get this functionaility to work correctly. Trying to process a PayPal refund using Blesta fails.
In the Blesta logs,
The INPUT is a success.
The Output is a failure.

John reacted to tlchosting in Softaculous
It would be nice to see a extension/plugin for the auto install of a script on the creation of a cPanel account by softaculous.
There is some API information here https://www.softaculous.com/docs/Auto_Install_API

John reacted to Michael in Blesta 2.5
Just because I was bored and it looks great except a few text shadow on the client side and a border on the header content boxes which can be fixed with the new css boxes coming in 3.3 or 3.4.

This makes life SO much easier since the module grabs all of the nameserver, whois, etc automatically. Thank you.

John reacted to Blesta Addons in Logicboxes Reloaded - Extra Feature -
Hello Tyson
yes, is the default core module shipped with blesta 3.2 . i have added some function/feature to it .
you can check it and test it , any change are welcome .
to test it well , delete the order-id field in some domaine service , and test it with the core module , then upload my module and it it .
the first post i write what i have added in the module , and what i will add next days .
is better for all together to be in the core module .

John reacted to Tyson in Logicboxes Reloaded - Extra Feature -
Is this for v3.2 of Blesta using the bootstrap-styled LogicBoxes module?
We may be interested in integrating some of these features, but anything based on what you've already written we would need to review first. It'd be great to see some documentation/explanation on what the new features do and how they function so we can gauge whether to include them.
I think it's good to see others making improvements to existing modules. Thanks for the contribution.

it can be addeed to the default module if blesta staff want it .

John reacted to Max in Native Yubikey Support
Wouldn't call outsourcing the validation to a webservice native.
Doing the validation locally is native: https://code.google.com/p/yubiclass/source/browse/#svn%2Ftrunk
Main difference is that instead of storing a Yubikey ID in the database, you need to store the AES key you programmed into the Yubikey, and the counter that was last used during login (must always be higher on subsequent logins).
2 database columns instead of 1.
I wouldn't blindly trust the security of the servers and integrity of the personnel of any third party organization, if it can be avoided.
Same reason I disagree with Blesta currently sharing the secret seed key with Google (it is using Google charts to generate a QR code of it)
-
John reacted to Paul in Native Yubikey Support
We may add third party two factor services in the future, but we went through the effort to create our own TOTP and MOTP libraries based on the open standards because a self contained system is by nature more secure.. plus, it's free.
Perhaps a more modular system, by which third party developers can create different OTP options, and drop them into Blesta would be ideal. There will undoubtedly be more and more options available over time.
