Hi Michael, this is going offtopic, I don't want to start political discussions here. I don't know where you're from, but I'm pretty sure that spreading destructive political opinions is not the best marketing technique towards customers. I've been following this topic since months now and assumed by your name that you belong to Blesta, and I was close to quit because of this. Now I took a deeper look, you're just distributor and I really hope, the Blesta team doesn't share your opinion.
Thanks @Paul for investigating and clearing up. That's a good starting point but time is running and I will take a look at other software, then decide.

Any news on this, yet? I took a look into the subject https://dev.blesta.com/browse/CORE-2463 with subtasks - most unassigned and unresolved. So I'm from Germany and all of my clients are in the EU. If Blesta won't be compatible with the GDPR in two weeks, I have to quit blesta and use another software.
I absolutely cannot understand the ignorance regarding this topic by some commentators here.

in Blesta 2.5 it was possible to include the balance info in the invoice email.
Even better it would be if this could be included in all payment reminders for unpaid invoices. My clients often ask me, oh how much was it, can you please send it again ...
When they click on the payment link they can see the debt of the one invoice the email belongs to, but no complete balance (and some clients have more than one unpaid invoice).

Unfortunately the inclusive tax feature doesn't work. If I set an inclusive tax and add a new invoice, the tax is always added to the price. :-(

I'm trying the following:
One service costs $ 5.00 incl. tax, that's $4.20 excluding tax. This service is created via package (using Universal Module).
Now I want to offer a coupon for the whole $5.00 amount.
But when the coupon is now applied to the service, it's calculated down to $4.20 - so the client has an invoice about $0.80 instead of free.
(Per order form / api)
 
I also tried setting the coupon to $5.95 - this would be $5.00 + tax. But this one is also calculated down to the $4.20 of the line item.
 
Request:
A. Allow coupons to be taxable. Maybe a checkbox when creating the coupon. This should be applied automatically.
B. (Much better): Apply the coupon to the line item before it is taxed. This would make more sense to me, because nobody has to tax $0.00 - right?

CORE-732 exists for a "Revenue this Year" stat. I also want to do a yearly graph, however I'm trying to decide whether we change the graph date range and add a new option for this in the drop down (currently 7 days, 30 days), or add this as its own graph.

For order notices, you want to make sure you have the Order System widget installed on the billing overview page. Then click the gear/cog icon in the window decoration for the widget. Each staff with this widget can set their order notification preferences.

CORE-711. This applies to plugins installed after languages have been installed.

I think this is essential for a proper support service.
Be able to search on a KB and show related articles when submitting a new support ticket, among other useful and time saving features.

Ok, I think I found the cause: My Server API is CGI/FCGI, not Apache 2.0 Handler.

ok I won't call it bugs, just litte enhancement possibilities:

1. If select invoice type option is turned off for clients, they still see on their dashboard: "You are currently receiving invoices by Email. Change this?"

2. when modifying a client the "Generate Password" feature is nice, but doesn't make any sense for existing clients. nobody knows what password is set, no email is sent, admin can't see it neither…

I extracted all language files for en_US now myself. If anybody is interested, I can upload it (if you tell me where to upload it).
 
Currently I do the translation for de_DE this way myself, using community strings also - I can upload this when I finished, too. But this would not be compatible with the community translation generator, because I've all not translated strings in English in it. For me that's very good - everytime I see one not yet translated text in the blesta interface, I can go into the files, looking where it is exactly and change it there. And do a big search & replace for some strings... (many of them are really redundant)

I read your lines again carefully, now I was able to reset the main install. (forgot importing the 2nd into the 1st database, thought in wrong direction)
ok, I'll configure everything now, backing up before and after configuring - and then import from Blesta 2.5 (and back up again ;-) )
