Hi Michael, this is going offtopic, I don't want to start political discussions here. I don't know where you're from, but I'm pretty sure that spreading destructive political opinions is not the best marketing technique towards customers. I've been following this topic since months now and assumed by your name that you belong to Blesta, and I was close to quit because of this. Now I took a deeper look, you're just distributor and I really hope, the Blesta team doesn't share your opinion.
Thanks @Paul for investigating and clearing up. That's a good starting point but time is running and I will take a look at other software, then decide.

Is really dissapointed . EU is not the whole world, USA also, so if a soft is offered universally it should respect the major market laws, including japan china india canada ect ....
This was announced a year ago and all other competitor has worked in it and now they are compliants .
Blesta should add asterisks to the billing features like :
Is not ideal for hosting industry.
Is not compatible with EU invoicings and laws.
Is not fully multi languages .
Is not reflecting clients ideas, it reflect staff ideas .
Ect....

Any news on this, yet? I took a look into the subject https://dev.blesta.com/browse/CORE-2463 with subtasks - most unassigned and unresolved. So I'm from Germany and all of my clients are in the EU. If Blesta won't be compatible with the GDPR in two weeks, I have to quit blesta and use another software.
I absolutely cannot understand the ignorance regarding this topic by some commentators here.

this will not be implemented in our CMS, we have this already in our multi-language plugin (beta version now), we can map language to a subfolder [/fr - /us - /uk - /in ... ect] if GeoIP enabled. our case is we need to map some domain extensions to some countries.
i will release a plugin for autoupdate geoip database daily in blesta. no more to download and extract and upload

when a client recieve a email about the invoice due, the pay link page show the invoice's items with the sub-total(tax not included) with the total (tax-included) in the end . the subtotal and the tax amount not shown, so is sometimes confused for the client about the amount, as the items total is not the same as the total shown

the client see a 12$ difference, this 12$ is the 20%Tax . os we prefer to add another rows for sub-total and tax, or show the items price included the tax  like

Some of our client has asked us how we could lunch some addons in open source format ?! they will be distributed in the internet without our control !!!
We believe if someone want to bypass a license he will do even if the files encoded, and some of our module already was nulled by others even if Blesta itself is nulled now. but also we believe in support of our clients that need a great support and regular updates for any issue and error in the Addons, they regular renewal of subscription will make us providing more addons and add feature to actual addons.
What is your new terms of license ?
our new terms are very simple, you have the right to use any addons that your subscription give access to it for only the licensed domain during the checkout, once the subscription is canceled or suspend, you lose the right to use the addons and you should remove them immediately.
I have addons companies in blesta, 1 subscription for the main domain is enough ?
No, our subscription is limited to 1 domain, even if our addons are multi-company support, is you want to use them for another domain you need to purchase another subscription for the second domain .
i have changed my domain , i can change the domain in my subscription service ?
No, we don't allow changing domain in the subscription, once the service was activated you can't change, but we can correct the domain if you enter a wrong letter or character .
Are you providing a money back guaranty, refunds  ?
No, we don't provide any refund for any activated subscription, the client should ask us anything regarding any addons via our ticket or via email or in the forum thread related to the addon before any purchase, some advanced plugins will remain with a monthly basis package for any testing purpose, then after you can order the subscription that will give you the access to the addon .
I already purchased a yearly license for a module, i want to switch to the new subscription ?
Yes, you can switch the equivalent subscription level based in pricing term, just open a ticket and we will switch your service .
What about my other free addons that was activated before this change ?
You can still use them without any limitation, but you can't benefice form new update, so e suggest you to go with the access subscription to get access to some free addons .
I use php 7, your addons are compatible with it ?
Yes, since the addons are open source will no longed need to any encoders loaders, the addons will work in almost of php  version from 5.4 to 7.2 .
What happen if any day blesta-addons will disappear ?
don't worry, we are not only creating addons , we also use a lot of them, as we have a large network of websites in the hosting industry, from domains to hosting, vps, dedicated servers, cloud, licensing and much more, so we are the first client of our addons, and we are using blesta from the first beta, YES first beta since 2007.
I can't  buy any encoded addon as i feel the company will disappear and let me in troubles .
Don't worry again, all our plugin will goes to open source format, so you have the full source code, the only limitation is you need to renew your subscription to use our addons legally. the second wonderful thing is we are giving to Phillips Data, Inc (Blesta) the full right over our addons, so when they feel we are a ghost in this world they can redistribute the addons as they want , this is only if we are disappeared for a long time (6 month) .

not yet implemented in blesta, even if we can't do it as a plugin . it need blesta team intervention to make blesta fully European LAW, like proforma, numbers, prevent invoice from being edited if the client has changed his profile info, VAT numbers, credit notes, ... ect .

Late Fee For Blesta
We are excited to announce the release of late fee plugin, this plugin will give you the option to add a late fee for every past due invoice. You can manage the late fee plugin from the admin dashboard , just configure it and let the plugin do the work for you, is out-of-the-box plugin, never though about your past due invoices. The plugin give you the choice to add a fixed amount to any late fee, or to add a percentage fee of the total amount in past due invoice, that not all, the plugin give you the ability to set a minimum amount to make it as a late fee when the percentage amount is smaller than X amount .
The plugin run periodically to generate a late fee for past due invoices, then he notice the client about the late fee invoice was added .

as v4 , the navigation model has changed a bit , and base_uris links visibility has introduced [public, client, admin] . for public visitor the home link is shown, in client logged in the home link is replaced by the dashboard link . but if the cms or any other cms installed the client can return to home website . so i think is suggested to add home link to client also .
we have spent some hours searching in the navigation links before we found the new structure of links, now the multi languages is fully upgraded to v4 . we will release it this days .

Alright, I don't normally do this but I'm going to close this thread. No offence to the @jassdesi, and I hope my response was informative. I hope everyone has a good week.

Hey @Licensecart, be patient wit the others . if you see someone blame is because he has a cause to blame , don't forget he is talking about the most popular subject in the last 2 or 3 years here .
@jassdesi , the domain refactor will be done in v 4.1 , that was blesta promise , and @Paul was already started a post here to get what the new domain manager should do, i'm was against the way he want to implement the new domain manager, he want a plugin and i suggest make change to the packages system and the module system , as i believe domain should remain as service with some advanced features .(that way all other billing software do)

After the new big release of Blesta V4, I have to say that is awesome to know that you update your code to support PHP7 and make changes to the composer and the Mass Mailer option that we needed; but I want to know why you are not paying attention to what our community needs?
 
I think all of us agree that we need a better system for the Domain Management, is something that is very complicated at this moment and we have, to be honest, is a complete disaster. Knowing that most of the user of Blesta are business involve in the hosting industry, I think this will need to be considered top priority but is not.
 
Today I invite you guys to let us understand why this feature that we need urgently is not being taken into consideration.
 
All of us here I am 100% have custom modules or plugins that we develop to get around all of this lack of functionally blesta don’t offer. Is incredible that after 1 – 2 years asking for a better system we still waiting for blesta to come with a new system. We saw a little light in the darkness when Paul address this Domain Manager issue on August 22 -2016 but we are on March 19, 2017, and after seven months nothing new about this matter at all.
 
We heard that in 4.1 Maybe this will be considered but is something we need right now.
 
Blesta, please hear us!!!.  We loved you so much but we can’t be together if you don’t change.

For the moment is better to wait until we know what will be the new domain manager .
if you pay for a module now , and the domain manager come, maybe your module will not compatible with it and you need to re pay for a new one .
