As naja mentioned, /support/vendors/ckeditor/skins/v2/footer.php in not part of Blesta. You should remove footer.php immediately, and investigate how it was uploaded to that directory. If you have any other software running on the server like Wordpress, make sure they are up to date. Wordpress is responsible for a lot of exploited websites.

We highly recommend running Blesta on its own server without any other applications, keeping the server up to date, and locking it down with a firewall.

When placing a order you have to go back to re-order another one so you can have two items. However on the summary it shows 1@ for each one. I would like to request a way to set the quantity row.

So you can change the 1 to a 2 or a 3 etc. And it will order 2 or 3.

I saw a request for a BrainTree payment gateway and remembered that while ago we whipped one up as we were contemplating using BrainTree.

This was tested with test credentials but we never actually tested it or used it live.. there may be issues/bugs/etc and unfortunately as we don't currently use Blesta nor will we be using BrainTree, we won't be working on it/supporting it any further. I am 100% okay with Phillips Data, inc. taking over the plugin if they want to as we extended their stripe one to begin with, anyway.  Or anyone else who wants to take over development on it is fine too.

Anyway, feel free to test it out and report back here what you find for other users. Hope some folks find some value in this.

    Could very well be.

But I have been told that tax inspectors exist outside the EU as well.
Not all countries may have exact rules about what needs to be on an invoice, and what administration you must keep, but they generally do appreciate it if the information you do have is accurate, and do require that you have sufficient information for your turnover to be calculated and taxed properly.
Things like back dated invoices, and dynamic address information -that suddenly may show a different state/country than originally, not matching the sales tax charged- are not going to earn you kudos anywhere.

If the check did not go through, change the transaction from Approved to Returned. I recommend Returned for bounced checks, as that's effectively what happened. Voiding it as Mike describes will work as well.

Once the transaction is no longer Approved, it will be unapplied from the Invoice automatically, re-opening it.

Password scores can be useful to end-users by simply making them think about their password selection. If they want to choose something we arbitrarily deem as "poor" security-wise, then at least they are making a conscience decision about it. It may nudge people into creating a better password, and save us the headache of a breached account.

In terms of arbitrary, the link Jonathan posted -- https://tech.dropbox.com/2012/04/zxcvbn-realistic-password-strength-estimation/ probably best fits with our understanding of secure passwords. Length is better than special characters, and passwords that are difficult for computers to guess but easy for people to remember.

    Worth considering.

A simple "visual note" about a selected password, is good and not invasive: user can choose  arbitrarily if accept or not.

https://www.dropbox.com/register (based on https://tech.dropbox.com/2012/04/zxcvbn-realistic-password-strength-estimation/) is a great sample.

Scores for passwords in applications are generally derived by meeting certain criteria, most often times javascript is use to determine this "on the fly".  For example: https://tech.dropbox.com/2012/04/zxcvbn-realistic-password-strength-estimation/

Sure it's somewhat arbitrary, but creating secure passwords really isn't hard so having an arbitrary meter to help guide people would be very useful.

Hey guys- New user here- I discovered Blesta on Friday and quickly signed up after about a month of debating on how I am going to manage my growing client's hosting. We primarily focus on fully-managed solutions and optimized hosting solutions and I have been looking for a highly configurable, but usable out of the box solution, that really doesn't automate everything (as we're a hands on web dev company) but had the capability, and this is it! I spent the weekend plugging in my clients, linking my Stripe account, building service plans, etc, and best of all, personalizing the client dashboard and login screen (I've modded the admin a bit, but really not necessary). I am a front-end developer with a lot of CSS experience and basic PHP experience... enough to tweak and move stuff around comfortably, but I don't program. Here is the result of my personal integration for my clients.

Basically- I widened the template, removed all of border radius' and shadows, removed the chunky top sections, modified the client_main_myinfo to incorporate a photo (which is static for now, my programmer will make that account specific, set by the admin, in the weeks to come) and rearranged some of the functions, and basically changed the font and colors on everything.

This is just a start- We're going to run client account info down the left as part of main_myinfo, and tweak it a bit more. We'll eventually modify the package order forms before we roll out the ability to sign up from our website. We also do graphic/print work, so we may modify the support system to allow for requests that include text fields and drop downs for graphic type products (ie. asking the client what type of product, what size, what amount, etc)

I am not happy with my CSS mods of the login page, it will likely change. It looks nice, but it's not perfect.

I've really enjoyed modifying Blesta- the php and css is very clean and easy to work with!

    See attached. Feedback greatly appreciated!

    Craig

It's possible, but it's not natively supported. It would require you to make core changes, which will be overridden during upgrades. You would need to maintain the changes in your installation.

Amounts are displayed in several places across the admin/client interfaces, but for brevity I'll give an example of one place on the Wizard order form. The other order forms (i.e. Standard/AJAX) would need to be updated similarly.

This example will change the price display on the Wizard order form's drop-down menu for Term and Price. This will show prices using the per-month price rather than the price for all months combined.

    Open /plugins/order/views/templates/wizard/config.pdt
    Find (line 37):
    $prices[$price->id] = $this->_("Config.index.package_price", true, $period, $this->CurrencyFormat->format($price->price, $price->currency)); Replace with:
    $amount = $price->price; if ($price->period == "month" && $price->term > 0) $amount = ($price->price/$price->term); $prices[$price->id] = $this->_("Config.index.package_price", true, $period, $this->CurrencyFormat->format($amount, $price->currency));

I totally Agree with you @Naja7host and @Paulov , Domain management is an important core feature, currently having some trouble on domains renewal and management as well. I would love to see the Domain manager done

@Licensecart , I would love to have the mass mailer, and It's one of the things I miss from my previous Billing system. But that can wait, the domain manager is very important for web hosting business. I sell domains 3x more than I sell hosting, managing/transferring/renewing is pain

Im shure that if I could open a voting pool, for exemple on WebHostingTalk, the "Domain Managment" will be on Top off all voting in Blesta Foruns, the voting is very limited to people that "dont need" domain managment like you Licencecart,  you only sell licences and not domains (i know in the pass you had sell)

Blesta is primary an Hoting Billing System, so it as to focus 100% in this market and not the extras

I like so much blesta, that "hurts me" a lot that I have to continue using WHMCS because of Domain Managment

But im not talking just for me, im talking in behalf of  hundreds of people that I have talk in Hosting Foruns, that one of main blesta problems is Domain Managment now (opensrs was one of the problem that I solved in 50%)

My opinion is, blesta will grow more with Domain Managment that any outher extra module/plugin

Blesta can now fully support EU invoicing
Blesta can now Upgrade/Downgrade in client area
Blesta is Mobile Ready (Client Area for now)

biggest extras for me, and alot of people, are:

0- (not an extra) separted Plugin for Domain Managment (do not relate with "Services" plugin, because Domains are totaly diferent)
1- Upgrade/Downgrade a package only after client pays the invoice.
2- If you have an "Auto Cancel" package, and the client upgrades to anouther package without an "Auto Cancel", remove the auto cancel for that package.
3- Dont suspend an account if you have an open invoice (this is on CORE for 3.5).
5- Always use sequential numbers in Pro-Forma invoices, even if you have converted an invoice, and dont reuse the old pro-forma numbers.
6 -Mass Mailling with auto cron sending on some action like (on cancel, after xx days purchaging, etc.)
7- Affiliate Plugin (this is the eseast plugin of all )
    8- use your imagination

if i remember will your voting thread , it was not radio button , it was multiple checkbox . so any member can select his needed module and his favorite plugin . like me , i have selected the domain manager and mas mailer and afiliate system .
if we compare mailer and domain manager , we found the mailer plugin is used by all , and all need it , but domain manager is neded by webhosters . i'm 10000% sure if it was a radio button for one slection , the mailer plugin will not get a lot of votes , because every voter will select the wanted module and not a value added plugin .
our goal from this discussion, is not attack blesta staff or blestars like you and me and PauloV , the attention is to rich and give some feedbacks from our experience . staff should take care to enrich the core and the core plugins (order-support... ect ) , in my case the order form and the domain manager should be rewrited in the next release . about plugins , we can take care of it ,^personnaly i have a lot of plugins/modules to write , but i can't lose time in it and i'm still in v2 , i prefer add more features to my modules of v2 that writing new for v3 . we can make a deal , blesta adjust and enrich the core files, and we make a and release new plugins and free (yes is free) ...
    P.S - I LOVE BLESTA
