turner2f got a reaction from Blesta Addons in Setup Fee gets Excluded when making Initial, RE-Curring web host payment
Setup Fee gets Excluded when making Initial, RE-Curring web host payment when using PayPal Standard Payments .
We have a $13.25 setup fee on a $192.00 web host package + 3% sales tax.
So the total comes to $211.41
================
When we click the "RE-Curring" button to pay for the web host package, the "set-up" fee gets stripped away from the initial RE-curring payment so that it gets reduced to $197.76 USD for each year.
Which would be fine for the 2nd year. But the 1st payment should include the set-up fee.
FYI - We are using the " PayPal Payments Standard " gateway.
================
The only way to get paid the full $211.41 is to click on the "Single Payment" button.
=======================
FYI - This is the exact same issue as with any "Outstanding PRO-rated" amount and "Coupons" when dealing with RE-Curring services.

2nd FYI - We are using PayPal Payments Standard
Will this issue occur if we use Authorize.net ?
1) - Is there a way to get the "setup fee" to automatically be billed ( invoiced ) separately as a "one-time" payment ?
2) - Does PayPal have a setting to accommodate this ?
3) - Will this be an issue once we move to Authorize.net ?

turner2f got a reaction from activa in PayPal is requiring memberships before making "Single Payments"
@activa
Yes. It appears to be a PayPal situation.
When I called they said that they have RANDOMLY put several other people's accounts on some sort of "Fraud Risk List".
Been with them for 10 years without any problem or complaint on record.
So I will be calling back today to find out why we were RANDOMLY put on it and to get us off of it.

turner2f got a reaction from activa in How to Modify Adobe DreamWeaver to Audit your file changes sitewide
For those of us who have made CSS, text or code modifications to our files AND cannot remember what we did or where exactly we did it...
We need the ability to Audit our file changes.
============
Personally, like to audit my changes so that the changed files are not overwritten or the code gets lost when updating to a new version of Blesta.
IMPORTANT : I ALWAYS tag my code changes using PHP, HTML or CSS comments
EXAMPLE: //MODIFIED CODE <!--MODIFIED CODE--> /* MODIFIED CODE */
This way all I have to do is a site-wide" code search for " MODIFIED CODE " in DreamWeaver , and then ALL my changes and files are listed site-wide.
============
I use DreamWeaver CS3 to search for all my changes on a Windows 7 OS
NOTE: Out-of-the-box, DreamWeaver CS3 does not detect PDT files.
============
Here's what to do...
STEP 1 - Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/change-add-recognized-file-extensions.html
To see your version of Dreameaver .
STEP 2 - In Windows 7, go to "C Drive" and then search for the " Dreamweaver 9 " folder
STEP 3 - Inside the folder you will find a text file called "Extensions.txt"
STEP 4 - I would suggest you make a backup of your original DreamWeaver file by naming it " Extensions_(OLD) "
STEP 5 - Open up the "Extensions.txt" file with a 3rd party text editor like Notepad ++
STEP 6 - On the 1st line just add the PDT ( all capitalized ) so that it looks like...
HTM,HTML,SHTM,SHTML,HTA,HTC,XHTML,STM,SSI,JS,AS,ASC,ASR,XML,XSL,XSD,DTD,XSLT,RSS,RDF,LBI,DWT,ASP,ASA,ASPX,ASCX,ASMX,CONFIG,CS,CSS,CFM,CFML,CFC,TLD,TXT,PHP,
PHP3,PHP4,PHP5,PDT,JSP,WML,TPL,LASSO,JSF,VB,VBS,VTM,VTML,INC,JAVA,EDML,MASTER:All Documents
STEP 7 - Startup DreamWeaver. - - > Find and Replace - - > ( Leave the replace text area blank ) - - > " Find In: Selected Files In Site " ( you should have your Blesta folder selected to be searched )
STEP 8 - And then do a "site-wide" (Global) search for all the areas you tagged ( commented ) as being modified
============
Viola!
You are ready to Audit and "copy and paste" all your changes by comparing your modified files to the NEW ones of your Blesta upgrade.
AS A BONUS...
You can also use DreamWeaver to "Reverse Engineer" by using the keyword search sitewide for code and text.
Hope this helps.
And vote it up if you like it.

turner2f got a reaction from activa in How do we Audit our file changes ?
Nevermind.
I figured it out.
I created a "Contribute" post on how to Modify DreamWeaver to recognize PDT file extensions, hence the ability to audit all our file changes via it's file search.
This is better than using "Diff Merge" or "GitHub" since you have to compare each file piece-by-piece.
Whereas DreamWeaver does a Global site-wide search of every single file change in mere seconds, with the single push of a button
You can learn more by clicking on my "Contribute" post below...
Enjoy !

turner2f reacted to Blesta Addons in Client account cancelled - find out why and reverse
Normally , exist a option to allow client cancel their services , and a popup windows is shown to let him select at wich date they want cancel the service, on of this option cancel immediately . i think that is the reason .
you can disable this option from company settings under billing i think .
you can check database to see if the date_canceled is filled or not .

turner2f got a reaction from Blesta Addons in [Plugin] Quotes/estimates Plugin
We noticed something odd.
Whenever we are NOT logged-in, and we go to http://mysubdomain.com/client/plugin/quotes/client_main/
We are able to see everybody's quotes.
===========
We even cleared the cache in our browser, and viewed the same issue on different devices.
===========
Is there a way to make it so that a person has to be logged in BEFORE they can go to http://mysubdomain.com/client/plugin/quotes/client_main/ ?
And then once they are logged-in, they are RE-directed to the "Quotes" widget ?

turner2f got a reaction from bdacus01 in How To Setup Email Piping with C-Panel and Get SMS Text Alerts
STEP 1 - Go to Admin --> Support --> Departments --> Edit --> Piping configuration text field
There is a sample line of code that is generated ...
/usr/bin/php /home/username/support.mywebsitename.com/sub_folder/plugins/support_manager/pipe.php plugin/support_manager/ticket_pipe/index/1/ Use /usr/local/bin/php instead of /usr/bin/php
STEP 2 - Open up C-Panel and go to "Global Email Filter"
1) - Give it a title
2) - Use " to " and " contains " from the dropdown menu
3) - Insert your email address ( the one you are using for the "Departments" within Blesta )
4) - Go to " Actions " and choose " Pipe to a Program "
5) - Use the following sample path ( modify as needed per your Blesta installation location )
/usr/local/bin/php /home/username/support.mywebsitename.com/sub_folder/plugins/support_manager/pipe.php plugin/support_manager/ticket_pipe/index/1/ 6) - Open up your FTP program, go to " /plugins/support_manger " and give the " pipe.php " file a permission of 755
7) - All done !
===========================
Now the emails from generic email providers ( yahoo, gmail, hotmail, aol ) get piped into my support ticket system.
===========================
STEP 3 - ADDITIONALLY, you can setup the "Mobile Emails" within Blesta and C-Panel, so that the tickets will get sent as "Text Alerts" to your phone.
See Mobile Ticket ( SMS Text Alert ) setup instructions at..
==========================
Hope This Helps.
