Blesta Addons got a reaction from Tyson in tax inclusive
The issue is here, for Inclusive , we enter the price with tax included in the price, so in the package pricing we should enter 110.00 and not 100.00 .
the tax value is shown for informative info and not calculated with total or the subtotal .
Inclusive
Subtotal: 115.000
Tax: 10.00
Total: 115.00
Invoice Total (what the client is charged): 115.00
Exclusive
Subtotal: 105
Tax: 10
Total: 115
Invoice Total (what the client is charged): 115
this is what we have in our country .

Blesta Addons reacted to Greg-Mega in tax inclusive
You sure that's right? Here in Australia (GST is 10%)
Inclusive would be:
Subtotal $3.00
GST Portion (10%): $0.30
Total: $3.00
Exclusive would be:
Subtotal: $2.40
GST Portion (10%): $0.24
Total: $2.64
In your example you tell me 20% of £3 is £0.60 but it also tells me 20% of £2.40 is $0.60 and it's not, it's £0.48.
EDIT: If the Blesta developers want someone from Australia that has a good understanding of Australian taxation I'll stick my hand up. Sales tax really shouldn't be that complicated though you've done the hard part in appeasing for cascading taxes it's just now a matter of straightening it out in my opinion.

It would be nice to allow using markdown or styling html in the offline gateway description . as now it show only text and break lines.

Blesta Addons got a reaction from Abdy in Logos as settings
it would be better if Blesta make the logos (client/admin) side as a settings . that way we can upload our custom logos and change them when we want without touching the default template files. it will help also for users that use the default theme to re-upload their logos every time they upgrade in a major release .
if no custom logos is uploaded or set them show the default one

Are you using cPanel? If so make sure your System PHP matches your Domain PHP. I have seen where if Domain is 7.2 and System is 7 causes issue.

Blesta Addons reacted to Michael in tax inclusive
I have to say I do agree with this unless this is how we British do it.

Blesta Addons reacted to Tyson in tax inclusive
Could you elaborate on the issue? It's difficult to assess what value you're referring to is incorrect.
The tax type (inclusive/exclusive) will only control whether the tax amount is displayed as apart of the total or not.
For example, I tested an order for a $1.00 package that is taxed exclusively at 10% for client #1 and taxed inclusively at 10% for client #2.
The tax rates in the examples below are configured as:
Clients in the US are charged 10% with a tax type of 'Exclusive'. Client #1 is in the US Clients in the UK are charged 10% with a tax type of 'Inclusive'. Client #2 is in the UK Client #1 (with exclusive tax) sees on the order checkout page:
Product Price $1.00 Subtotal $1.00 Tax (10%) $0.10 Total $1.00 After placing the order, an invoice is created and the client is charged $1.10. On the order complete page, the client sees:
Product Price $1.00 Subtotal $1.00 Tax (10%) $0.10 PAID $1.10 ----
Client #2 (with inclusive tax) sees on the order checkout page:
Product Price $1.00 Subtotal $1.00 Tax (10%) $0.10 Total $1.10 After placing the order, an invoice is created and the client is charged $1.10. On the order complete page, the client sees:
Product Price $1.00 Subtotal $1.00 Tax (10%) $0.10 PAID $1.10 How do these examples I described differ for you? What value is incorrect and what do you expect it to be?

Blesta Addons reacted to Tyson in Gateways Country Filter
A configurable white/black-list would probably be nice to have for filtering what clients can see and use certain gateways. We've had requests not only for filtering by country/state/province, but also for specific clients themselves, or for specific packages. This filtering can be a little difficult to manage though, since you may create order forms that many clients are unable to use to make payments because all the gateways have been disabled. We'd have to display that better in some location.
Based on your example, the expectation when calling GatewayManager::getAll is to retrieve all gateways, so it's unlikely we would update this to allow filtering by event. Having a separate method, like GatewayManager::search($options), would be better.
-
Blesta Addons reacted to Paul in Client Fields, disable edition option
This isn't a bad idea, disabling the editing of certain fields like names or company names could prevent accounts from being so easily sold to someone else. We'd probably use it internally ourselves.

Blesta Addons reacted to nahanil in [Plugin] Domain Name Suggestions/Spinner
@evolvewh Sucks their "v5" API call appears to remove some of the useful options Still good to know!
Would be cool to see similar functionality implemented using other providers and plugins though as mentioned.
I just liked the NameStudio implementation as it's free (and I don't currently plan on using any providers w/ LogicBoxes) & pretty flexible. I like that you can get geo-targeted suggestions & the API supports results in several languages (ie, can pass the Blesta users' current language to the API if it's supported and get "better" results).
Not sure how you'd be likely to implement it @Blesta Addons, but this plugin I'm trying to get together should work regardless of the registrar plugin used/support all that are in use in your Blesta site.

Blesta Addons got a reaction from evolvewh in Domain Manager - We need your feedback on domains
The domains in blesta is totally different from whmxx . that depend wich module you are using in whmxx, and i believe you need to create package from every extension and setup them in blesta.
The domains in blesta still a big issue in blesta, we still waiting a solution and it appear is not a priority of blesta team.
